Barog Villa

I recently stayed at Barog Villa in the beautiful Barog Valley, and it was a wonderful experience. We booked a 2BHK option which comfortably accommodated 4 of us. The villa also offers 3BHK options for larger groups of 6. Each unit comes with a well-equipped kitchen, attached bathrooms, and a lovely balcony with a great view. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and there was ample parking space available. The hospitality was exceptional, making our stay very enjoyable. We are already planning our next vacation here next month. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the hills.

The ambience of this hotel is just extraordinary...including the staff services. But it lost me at non functioning of certain amenities like faucets in the washroom, television. Overall the experience of staying here is smashing!!!.......i highly recommend for this place

Very nice location. Staff is very cooperative. Nice location. Only complaint is that breakfast is limited to only 2 stuffed pranthas and if you eat three than u have to pay for one extra prantha. And second option is only bread. No other option. So it is really embarrassing. Overall it is ok. Caretaker Saranjit is really very very decent and cooperative.

We stayed during Oct'2021 for our onward trip to Tirthan valley as a night halt. We were a big group and we booked all the 3 apartments it had on offer. It has an elevator from level 1 (not from the ground), after you walk up about 15 stairs to level 1 from ground. It has good parking space, we could park our traveller there. However the approach is steep, so be careful about it. The place is very well-appointed and spacious. The level 1 also has a lawn which is accessible from inside. All the floors have a big dining space, and it was very good for socializing (read booze :) after freshening up. Some of the toilets had some problems, but since we had all the 3 floors with us, it was not a let down. You can have tea and food from nearby dhaba. We asked for tea to the lady taking care of the property, but it was pretty costly. We walked to the dhaba very near to it, and also could order food delivery home. Good part is that they have working microwave and refrigerator in some of the floors. While we were there, only one filter at level 1 was working. So instead of calling the lady to fill up upper floor filter kegs, we did it ourselves. I would stay here again if we go with bigger group. P.S. I think they don't provide receipt or bills. So you might bargain not to pay the GST component at least.

Love this place. It has got everything you want in a right price. What a view, a lift so trouble of carrying anything is not yours. Nice staff. Sunrise view is great. Just don't go for food, there. I have also posted view from the hotel.

Review is not for the stay in hotel but gross mismanagement of staff. We booked this hotel through oyo with confirmed booking and just 4 hours before check in we were informed that the hotel has cancelled booking due to over booking. Management is not at all trustworthy because they will cancel your booking if they get high paying customers from somewhere else. Hotel did not even have to audacity to ask me if I can make online payment to em to keep my booking intact. So book this hotel at your own risk because the pathetic management has not read a single chapter on hospitality, but they have opened the hotel. Thanks Barog villa for ruining our vacation because of your greed. Will make sure that none of my known people ever stay in your property.

Worst experience. Staff untrustworthy. Commits something and gives nothing. Dont take risk of booking this villa if you want to enjoy your vacations. Their are many other hotels , home stays in barog. This is worst one. I am giving it 1 start rating just to post my experience else this villa don't even deserve this rating.

visited this place weeks back but the view from the villa was very nice and beautiful . and so was the caretaker aunty . we got terrace rooms but the rooms at floor 2/3 are really far better .
