Divine kinnaur

An unprofessional and unkind host, we had booked a room through Agoda ( fully paid ) and confirmed with him, when we reached the homestay at 6:30 PM, he denied check-in because the property is fully booked and he was not ready to come to the property and talk, quoting his exact words “ I didn’t check notification from Agoda “, after a while we went into resolution mode and asked him to help us find a different property, he didn’t help us there aswell. He was not bothered about what we will do when almost entire Kalpa is booked. The location of the homestay is good, but what is the point of the location if the host is putting his clients through such distress and uncertainty for few extra hundreds.

Terrible experience at this homestay. We had a confirmed booking through Agoda, but when we arrived, the owner claimed he never got it and flat-out refused to let us check in. Even after showing him our confirmation, he was super rude and completely unhelpful. He didn’t even try to help us find another place to stay. As two women traveling without a vehicle, arriving at 7 PM during peak season, we were left totally stranded in a fully booked Kalpa. It was honestly really stressful, and the owner’s attitude was shockingly unprofessional and uncaring. Would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The host is amazing. Greeted us and helped us with our car too. Rooms are ok ok but the view is excellent.

Divine Kinnaur in Kalpa offers stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash range, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality. The food is delicious, and the peaceful ambience makes it a perfect retreat. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in the Himalayas!
