Mountain Paradise Homestay Kalpa

Our experience at this homestay was absolutely horrible. The owner, Sushanth, is extremely careless and clearly prioritizes profit over commitment or guest comfort. He confirmed a specific room for us, but when we reached after travelling 109 km by bike, he casually informed us that the room had been given to someone else who offered more money. He didn’t even bother to inform us in advance. Instead of taking responsibility, he simply said, “If you want to stay, take another room. Otherwise, look for something else.” This level of unprofessionalism is shocking. To make things worse: -Only one room has a good view — the rest are poorly maintained and honestly not stayable. -Washrooms are not attached, which is extremely inconvenient. -There is no proper parking space, despite what they claim. -The overall management feels disorganized and profit-driven, with no respect for guests or their time. This homestay completely ruined our travel experience, and I strongly recommend that future travellers avoid this place at all costs. We had to leave and find another home stay with more money at last moment. No one should have to face this kind of treatment, especially after a long journey. There are plenty of better options nearby — choose wisely and save yourself the trouble.
