Surkhang homestay

We stayed in this homestay for 2 nights during our recent Kaza trip. The place was neat and clean, and the staff was very humble and friendly, the homestay is 35 years old and hence not as modern as some of the other homestay nearby. we booked a family room that has toilet attached to it, but some of the other rooms does not have this facility so do check beforehand. There was no shortage of water per say but it was stored in big tanks places inside the bathroom to be used manually for WC and bathing. This was our first time in Kaza, so we are not sure if this is the standard setup you found in every homestay. The food option was limited as the occupancy was low, but it was well prepared and well served by the staff. The homestay has their own parking space but it is recommended to call them so they can guide / help you as the road to homestay are very tight in space, only one car at a time throughout the lane. so, you may struggle if this is your first time to Kaza. It's must recommend place to stay in Kaza we loved the behaviour of the staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Surkhang Homestay. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with all the necessities according to weather.The staff were incredibly friendly . The location was perfect for exploring the city center, and we particularly enjoyed the food and hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I have stayed twice in this homestay, one while one a trip with my parents and the other while on a trip with my friends. The homestay is located very close to the main market of kaza. You can easily walk down to the main market which is barely 2 mins of walk. The road is accessible to cars also. Behaviour of the people of this homestay is just great. The food is also very good. Rooms are spacious and very neat. Hot water facility is available in the bathroom which is also very neat and big.

The accommodations were excellent, and the cuisine was of exceptional quality, akin to a home-cooked meal. The staff provided exemplary service, treating us as esteemed guests.

Recently stayed at surkhang homestay, very peaceful and clean homestay. Adorable and welcoming people, room and food is nice. If you are looking for a good and cosy homestay this is the best place. Thanks to Mr. Kunga for such a lovely stay and service.

One of the best homestays in Kaza. The staff was really good and were always available for helping in planning the tour of Spiti. We had our amazing and best 3 days. It was a soul refreshing place.

We had an amazing stay and experience in this homestay while my bike tour to Spiti. Sushil is a great guy he is very very hospitable. This is a typical Himachali haveli I wanted to experience, They have very spacious heritage rooms which are fully furnished, nice carpets, warm and cosy bed and off course yummy food and chai everything is worth every money and priceless warmth they offer. The location is very close to Kaza market and high street just near by sols cafe, Sushil does go an extra mile to help the guest which he which helped find the experience in our next stay.
