RAFA Shangarh - An Artistic Homestay

Shangarh is an OFFBEAT place suitable for people who want to immerse themselves in the nature. The whole os Shangarh should be explored ON FOOT. The first thing that I would love to talk about is their Foood. Ohh man, they have one of the amazing taste in while of Shangarh and one of the very few in Himachal when it comes to TASTE. The staff were amazingly helpful. They were sweet and attended to everything that I've asked for. Rakesh Bhai, Harish and Rajnish made sure we feel at home with the food and service. This place is quiet and located almost at the end of Shangarh so it's the best place for you to spend your time with yourself and your loved ones. The rooms are amazing with attached washrooms and lovely balconies. Hot chai and pakoras in the evenings in this balcony watching the mountains is one of the best experiences of this place. Evenings should be spent at Meadows for sure. And morning walks to Barshangarh Waterfall which can help as an exercise. Hiking to Ganjau Thach, Tini top was very good. The views there was amazing 😍 Surprisingly they even have high speed WiFi that helped me with my work. I would recommend this place to couples, solo travellers, group of friends, and parents too. Suitable for a short 2-4 days trip

Location is little off road it is on the way to Bashangarh water fall. I really enjoyed my stay here in Sept 2024. Staff was really nice and hospitable. They had good homely food and rooms were neat and clean. They have two option for room and Dorms as well. Location is perfect for star gazing there is a brook near by you can walk uphill and take a detour around the woods dense pine forest.

Superb place. Nice and quiet. Great views. Amazing food. And helpful folks serving you. The prettiest view of the forest and mountains. Away from the little crowd near the Zostel part of Shangarh.

Very friendly homestay with amazing views. Food was fresh and tasty and the local village was a lot of fun to explore. There is a waterfall nearby and the trip to lake is a very enjoyable trek. Not accessible by car, so be ready to hike a bit.

This place is a gem tucked away in the Himalayas. We were a group of 5 friends and stayed here for 2 nights. The place is very cozy and neat, full of light. The bunk beds were super comfortable. It’s surrounded by nature and had such a good energy to it. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and so were the other meals. Everyone at the place went out of their way to help us whenever was needed. The sense of community present in this place was just amazing. Had such a great time sharing stories around bonfire/the tandoor(Bukhari) and playing cards and other games. Would love to go back and stay here whenever we are back in Shangarh ! 🤩

Best ambience you wont feel like going out as you ll have all the view from room itself, clean r& cute rooms with home made feeling food. Worth the money

This is one of the best place where you can stay in Shangarh. Boga (host) is super humble and will make sure you enjoy your stay. Food is homely and tasty. The common area is cozy and has lots of games to play. I cannot recommend this place enough. Must visit.
