Perfect Home Away From Home in Shimla! This was my first time truly enjoying a stay in Shimla and it was all thanks to this Silver Cedar BnB! The location is incredibly convenient, just a 20-minute walk to Mall Road or a quick local bus ride (only ₹10 per person) to the lift. The room was pristine, cosy, perfect for couples looking for a peaceful retreat. What truly made the experience stand out were the hosts, Chaitanya and Sonica. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, guiding us with clear directions and local tips that made navigating Shimla effortless. Sonica’s advice on local commuting was especially helpful. We were greeted with warm gestures and thoughtful little condiments that made us feel instantly at home. The kitchen was well-equipped, and they had stocked it with essentials like milk, Maggi, snacks, and coffee—small touches that made a big difference. If you’re looking for a stay that blends comfort, hospitality, and a true “home away from home” feel, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Staying at Silver Cedar hosted by Chaitanya & Sonica was truly a delightful experience! Situated at a 10 mins walk from the Shimla Mall, the Silver Cedar BNB offers the best view from the rooms! You can experience the most surreal sunset ever, from the cozy comfort of your room! The rooms are tidy and offer warmth, having attached washrooms and a kitchen, completed with all the necessary items. You can either cook your food or place order via Swiggy and Zomato from the best bakeries and restaurants in the city. If you are thinking of a workation, Silver cedar is ideal for you, as it offers solace and comfort along with utmost security. Hang out in the common seating area in the afternoon and evening to enjoy the sheer bliss of magical sunsets!

We stayed here for four nights with our little daughter. Travelling with a child isn’t easy and hence we prefer Homestays. This was a perfect choice. Well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms and a warm and wonderful host. They were always willing to help. Given that there were heavy rains during our visit, they even offered to pick us up! The place is accessible to Mall Road both by bus and foot easily. Which is a big plus! Wishing Mr Chetanya and Sonica the very best! This was one of our best stays.

Entire private holiday home living/lounge area with sofa beds, and a fully equipped kitchen Cleanliness and host hospitality receive praise: “spotlessly clean… host extremely welcoming… made us feel at home. Host was courteous, friendly, and always ready to help. They interacted very well with the kids and made us feel at home. Silver Cedar is a great place for families with children who want to enjoy nature, deal for multi day stays, mixing relaxation with access to Shimla’s attractions—Mall Road, We had no worries reaching the property or returning to the bus stand—"Sonica Ma’am" was always there to assist us with everything. Her support made our travel smooth and stress-free, especially while traveling with kids
