Shree Guest House Malpe

My experience at this guest house left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my concerns for future visitors. 1. Despite the owner's assurances about meticulous cleanliness, the guest house was rife with dust, cockroaches, and spiders. The beds and bedspreads were visibly unclean, triggering immediate sneezing upon their unfolding. 2. A glaring issue was the lack of mirrors throughout the guest house, and the sole mirror available was broken, making it challenging for guests to attend to their personal grooming needs. 3. The bathroom facilities were far from satisfactory. Not only were they unclean, but there was also no provision for hot water. We were compelled to heat water in the kitchen and transport it to the bathroom for bathing. 4. Both the AC units and ceiling fans failed to function correctly. On the second night, a power outage exacerbated the situation, leaving us without even a fan. This was particularly frustrating considering we had paid for AC rooms. 5. Adding insult to injury was the exorbitant price tag of 20000 per day. Given the numerous issues we encountered, the value for money was severely lacking. A more reasonable assessment would suggest that the guest house is not even worth a fraction of the amount charged. In conclusion, my stay at this guest house was marred by cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, and an unjustifiably high cost. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement for the establishment.

The property isn’t hygiene at all and full of cockroaches, blankets are pathetic, kitchen items are also not at all good, on top of that worst care taker as he walks into the property every now and then and interrupts our privacy, cleaning process should be started once the check-out but that caretaker comes and knocks the door at 7am to clean the stuffs (Also, he stolen one of the beer bottle which was available before his arrival and argued against us when we asked it back) Owner was quite professional and property isn’t that great, we were eagerly waiting to check out since nobody wasn’t happy in the house nor enjoying the environment due to these reasons. We won’t suggest others to visit this place.

The property is not at all good not home stay it is a booth Bunglow… whole house was not clean there beds there bedspread’s Yappa… the plates and kitchen items are worst there is zero maintenance …. The owner is concerned about only money because normally he won’t get any booking if someone like us without knowing about the property if we book then he collects money first only because he knows that after seeing the property know one will stay in the property..he cannot keep the property clean he argues with customers not the place to stay …. Please don’t stay here

Located near malpe beach. Its a great guest house with huge living room and kitchen, 2 king size bed rooms with 3 beds each and 2 king size bathrooms and a beautiful beach side facing verandhah opening directly to see. One can do camp fire. It has got great terrace view of St Mary island Good hygiene and very friendly care taker provided. Parking space available. Best for big family or group of friends.

A booth bunglaw filled with cockroaches and lizards. Dont get fooled with the pictures,they are taken at such a angle to look good but we completely got fooled after seeing the house directly and we don’t have other choice at night and had to stay in this house such a horrific experience and the owner was rude and he demanded 16000 for this property not even worth 1000.

This guest house situated almost 5 kilometer from the Malpe beach if you take road. They have 2 rooms and one can accommodate more than 5 people ,other is 4 People. But the large room is Non Ac and the smaller one is AC. The hall , kitchen and also the rooms are good. Near to the guest house there is no shop ,so if you need anything should walk for some distance to get things. They will not provide any food or anything but if you rice and al you can prepare. The backside is wow and its like private beach and thats worth it.

The room, the staff, the water arrangement were hopeless, they charged for breakfast but no arrangement was there(no tea/coffee), the owner didn't pick calls in morning and later called at 9 am saying breakfast has been sent we will get soon need to stay and wait. The AC was working for only one room after the mechanic came. the bed condition was pathetic. It was like a domatory in some civil hospital 6 single beds arranged side by side with dirty bed sheets.

Great view from the room and terrace. Ambience wise I felt was an average for interiors. But Highly cost effective for a beach access stay.
