very nice place to hangout than other home stays. owners received us very well. food is awesome, local malnad style recipes. very comfortable stay in the midst of coffee plantations. stress buster. campfire is great too. the whole family stays there and they have treated us as we were their long time friends or relatives. totally liked the place and atmosphere there.

It's been a year since we have stayed there but it's like yesterday. One of our most memorable trips. We loved everything about it - the food, the place and mostly the people. A true homestay. You will feel at home with your family. Thanks.

We stayed in the homestay for 2 days. It is wonderful experience. The homestay is managed by the family and food is cooked by themselves. Food is exceptional, we had different unique varieties of Mallanad food. We felt like stayed in our ancestors house and had wonderful experience of staying in a house in mid of coffee estate. Thanks Vignesh!! We would definitely suggest this homestay to our friends and relatives.

Stayed for 2 nights.The homestay is completely managed by a family. The food is prepared by the owners themselves.The food was amazing. During evening, snacks was also provided which was exceptionally good. Full marks to the food.We felt as if we went to a family friend's place. There was no delay in serving the food. Right from booking it was a good experience. They have a huge parking area.They have a projector as well, so that in case we need to watch a movie we can do so. They have caroms, badminton rackets. ||||One can depend on the GPS location.The owners guides us on the places to visit, and helps us on finding the short routes to reach the tourist spots. ||||Rooms:||Don't expect high end rooms. It had basic linens. There are no fans in the rooms, but not needed as it was chill throughout, as we went during rainy season.||||Bathrooms:||The attached bathroom had hot water 24/7. We booked 2 rooms,and one of the attached bathrooms didn't have a hand-pipe.||No toiletries provided. So one has to take everything and the bathroom was neat.||||Suggestions to the homestay:||1. Cloth hanger in the room||2. Hand pipe in all the bathrooms||||||Suggestions to the travelers:||1. Please confirm about the check out timings during your booking, so that the rooms are not blocked by other travelers[in our case, there was some miscommunication on the timings, hence we had to rush our check out as some other travelers had booked].||2. Don't expect high end rooms||3. Please confirm if they can provide table fans in case of other seasons[as we visited during rainy season, this was not needed]||||Will surely revisit this place, and also will suggest this place to whoever wants to visit Chikkamagalur.

Criteria's to be the best Home Stay: Good food- Check, ambiance- Check, Comfortable beds and living rooms - check, Spacious play areas - check, Fire Camp and BBQ facility - Check, DJ Systems - Check, Friendly Staffs - Check, Good Views - Check, Near by to tourist spots- Check, Reasonable price - Check. Manjina Giri Home stay definitely surpasses all these criteria's easily. Had a wonderful time here last weekend.

The owner Vignesh is one of my favourite homestay owners.His place is clean,beautiful and well maintained. The hospitality was super,it was as if I was meeting an old friend, the way he was taking me and my friends around. Our visit to Chickmangalur was marred by an incident involving our Vehicle and Vignesh went out of his way to help us. I would highly recommend that whoever visits Chickmangalur to stay here. The food is great.The place is great. The family there is great. And it's only 15-20 mins away from town so you can hit all the attractions in Chickmangalur. Cheers :)

One of the best stays! The view from the home stay was exquisite and serene. Also, the food was excellent and the hospitality felt like home. Overall had a splendid time :)

Great place to stay! Place was comfortable, spacious and clean. Food was excellent. Received good hospitality from the owners. Had good time around fire camp. Overall good time and value for money!
