Worst stay and rooms are dirty and fake promises and after reaching property there were no proper food and caretaker was said no availability of food items … worst thing they provide coffee being Coorg…… price was high not valuable … I suggest no one to visit this place

Only the location & view was beautiful. You cannot go into the glass house between 11 am to 5 pm. A glass house needs ventilation. AC doesn't work but they charge us for that. The waiting room was just made of metal sheet with 2 plastic chairs & 1 metal small bed. Bedsheets, curtains, and towels of the glass house were not washed. The floor and dining table was also unclean.

Worst place to stay. I would suggest not to choose this place and there are many stay available near by at this price range. Glass house sorry glass tent is very tiny and no AC so you won’t be able to stay after 9am in the glass house. The heat is very severe and you get heat stroke. Next is wooden hut is full of insects, fungus. Con is that you get to stay with cockroaches. Breakfast is not worth. Over priced and over hyped place. They will say like they are offering dinner and breakfast free but twist is at when you check out. Still if you decided to stay, get food from outside and enjoy the heat stroke. Overall review is worst place and over priced and over hyped that is what you get.

Wow, this nature stay in Coorg was absolutely amazing! Travelled to this place a few days back. Even though I couldn't stay in the glass house, the wooden cottage was cozy and comfortable. The French window in the cottage room was my favorite spot to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of tea. And the room under the glass house was another highlight - I got to enjoy my breakfast with a stunning view! The property was surrounded by nature and not crowded, so I had all the peace and privacy I needed. The caretaker, Niranjan, and his wife were so kind and served delicious food. I can't wait to go back and stay in that glass house next time! It was such a unique and wonderful experience. If you're looking for a peaceful and nature-filled getaway, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it!

I was extremely excited about my stay at 42 Gaalibidu, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The "glass house" advertised is actually a glass tent with a tiny attached bathroom that lacks hot water. There wasn't a dustbin, and the room had a strange odor. Rainwater was leaking inside, and I saw leeches and snails crawling around. The caretaker put a wet mat inside the tent, and the bedsheets were also slightly damp. As a couple, the glass structure was concerning because the curtains were not properly pinned, and there were no extra pins available. The curtains were also very dirty, so I had to use my body tape and hair clips to cover them properly. We left early in the morning because we couldn't stay any longer; mosquitoes were getting inside, and the mosquito coil provided wasn't working. We were the only guests there, and the stay wasn't worth even ₹500, yet we paid ₹3500. No tea was served, and for two days, they claimed the milk had curdled, so we couldn't even have proper breakfast.

It was a very bad experience, no water in the bathroom, full day no water, had to check out without going to the washroom in the morning (water didn't come from morning till 12 o'clock), if there is no water, there is no other option. The service is very poor. If you want a glass of hot water or tea, you have to call 3/4 times. The quantity of food ordered was less. From the bathroom of a glass house, you can see it from the outside. If you say a need, you have to call them many times. No campfire. The bathroom is all clean. The climate is all nice

Giving 3 for the caretakers not for the rooms. View is amazing, location is top notch. I went in monsoon season, Coorg is little difficult when you visit in rainy season. Insects, leech and rain. We had 4 leech inside room after we had checked in. Well lets ignore the leech and insects because you cant help its monsoon and jungle. ITS DIRTY, all the white curtains are stained and fungus on it. Glass looks they have not been cleaned for years.

All the reasons NOT to stay here. 1. You'll slip and fall on the mud while walking from the gate to your rooms. No proper stairs. No railings. Algae. 2. Complimentary breakfast = overwatered soggy Maggi + tea flavoured sugar water. No you cannot ask for other food. 3. Hidden charges. They'll ask you 500 INR for auto fare to bring your food from the shop to your room. Also no inhouse restaurant. 4. Leeches. Cockroaches. Flies. It's a true wild life experience. Toss a coin. 5. No towels. 6. No daily cleaning of room. 7. No bonfire. 8. Don't ask for snacks, they'll only give you Maggi. Unless you really love Maggi. 9. Charging ports do not work. 10. Overpriced. 11. Weak wifi. No signal. Reasons to book the stay 1. Cute dog.
