Secret Meadow Homestay Coorg

A great getaway place to stay, it will take time to reach this place from Madikeri but it's worth every bit, you'll be amazed with the silence nothing but bird's calling out. A cliff covered in fog within walkable distance and a beautiful falls nearby to amaze you and food is top notch with pure malnad style.

It's not what you expect, the photos are misleading. It's a dormitory with a very tiny bathroom and there are leeches and caterpillars inside the room The beds are dormitory beds with clearly used blankets. The food is extra charges and basic home cooked food that takes way to long to come to the room. There is no proper sitting area just plastic chairs in the tiny corridor outside. Not worth the price point

Very beautiful place in mid of nature and calmness, place is surrounded by coffee estate and the forest. Accommodation is pretty decent and it is meant for large groups and it is neat. Food is really tasty and homely. Host is very nice and made us feel very comfortable and took care of our needs with patience and available all the time

Highly recommended for Nature Lovers. True to its name, its a hidden gem in Coorg and one of the best places I stayed in Coorg. Rivers, views, natural mountains springs, Scenic Lake, Trekking trails, Tea plantation, Thick forest, wildlife all in one place. Take your cameras for amazing landscape pictures, forget the phones as network is poor. The food is good and authentic. The staff is courteous. The owners are helpful and was helped us out plan our 3 days and arranged for one of the best treks i have done so far. Thank you Hidden Valley!

Would’ve given negative ratings if I could. The resort was overpriced. There are lot of good resort nearby. Don't go for this. There is no proper road to the resort. The roads are too worst. Rooms are not clean and bedspreads has stains. At the last moment they will cancel the early morning check in, even if you had mentioned it earlier, we have to wait for more than 4 hours. The hospitality was not good. After seeing the room we left the resort within half an hour and booked another resort. Unresponsive manager. They will charge cancellation fee, even if you are not willing to stay there.

Very nice place to spend a memorable vacation. Place is inside the forest and felt very close to mother nature. Good trucking and enjoyed lot in water fall. Manu guided us with trucking and to a water fall. Very rare place where you find tea estate and coffe estate together. Overall hospitality was very good and had proper croog food and it was one of best food i ever had. Feels like visiting one more time.

Stay was good, close to nature. Was a different experience. Loved the trekking and the waterfall. Food was also very good. Menu was limited but tasted awesome. Hosts and caretaker were helpful. This is the best place to go if you are looking for a close to nature stay. Please don’t expect resort like ambiance.

Had great time to spend with friend in the resort. Rooms were much spacious with enough bathroom facilities. Home services were too good. Foods were tasty as home made foods. Definitely should give a try.
