Stayed at the Sunset room here, really quiet and peacful. Good place to stay if you want a digital detox! Food was simple but really flavourful. I ended up eating a lot!! Team at the property are super helpful and efficient. What I really liked most though is the whatsApp group to ensure we are updated on menu for the day, people to contact for our needs etc. And brownie points for my complimentary birthday cake!! Thanks Boppanna and Vanandhaara team for a great experience.

V booked the entire property for our group of 20. The place is far from Madikeri. Approx 2.5 hrs drive. It's between a coffee estate and very near to Nagarhole tiger reserve. Property is well maintained, staff is also very helpful and courteous. When we went there unfortunately d swimming pool was not working. V had start of d day with disappointment but d owner was kind enough, he went overboard & ensured v had a good stay. The next 2 days were amazing. V visited Irupu waterfalls (must visit), Nagarhole tiger reserve (early morning and pl bring in cash as they don't accept UPI or cards) ... The food was amazing at property. Most of it was from their own farm, fresh and amazing taste. I must say that if ur planning to visit Nagarhole tiger reserve or u just wanna chill out with family - ideal place...

I had booked this place one month before my actual stay and paid good money in advance as my friends were coming down from outside the country. The owner took the money and blocked the palce. Later one week before the trip he actually called and cancelled on us. Really unprofessional fellow. He sent me a few links asking me to book elsewhere. I would definitely not recommend this place. Please read others reviews too.

Not kids friendly, if you are planning to take infants along. The pool had cockroaches and frogs in them. Not useable. Lunch is highly over priced , around 500 per person for buffet. Don’t buy lunch from them. The location of the place is good, however opt for a better resort / homestays in that area. Rooms were not maintained and property is not as it shows in the picture. There were positives , Vishal helped us with a lot of things during our stay. Sorry to stay was not just cricket but other insects in other rooms. And they were stinking of phenoyls. But your staff is very good and highly helpful. I would have just wanted the property to be more maintained and better experience.

Tranquil atmosphere. Most professional service. Wonderful amenities. Special mention myst be made of Vishal and Bopanna in making it a memorable holiday. Looking forward to going back.

Nice place to get away from regular work. Approach road is a bit cumbersome during rains. Food is excellent. Staff very courteous and helpful

The place by itself is as per the website. It's basic - so don't expect anything fancy. It's an escape and one should keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that this is in the wilderness so you would have your occasional bee, lazard, spider and other such trespassing your room. Not stressful if you are aware :) The fun of the place comes from two aspects 1. The location - which is back or beyond with very little around you. Also, it's close to the forest and that is a must visit for nature lovers. We actually went multiple times on each day of our stay. There are some waterfalls, temples and other interesting points - but for me the forest was what kept me interested 2. The service - unlike resources which have a ton of facilities, this does not. I mean there is a trampoline, bonfire and space to play badminton. But thats nothing fancy and quite rudimentary. The pool too is quite small - but inviting nonetheless during a hot day. For us, it's the staff who bend over backwards to ensure your stay is comfortable. I remember a guest asking for vanilla ice cream and they went as far as the next town to get that arranged (yeah, you don't get vanilla ice cream and need to plan these requests) All in all, we enjoyed our time there. Was a little basic from what we had anticipated but when you look at that sunset and peaceful nature sounds in the early morning and evenings - you know it's an escape from city life. It's not a resort but a comfortable and hospitable home away from bustling city life
