Ganesh Estate Homestay

We recently stayed here, and our experience was extremely disappointing. The property is poorly maintained and unhygienic. We had paid for 8 rooms, but were given only 7, as one of our booked rooms was reportedly given to someone else who paid more — a very unethical and unprofessional practice. Out of the 7 rooms provided, 4 rooms were not as shown to us during booking — completely different from the photos and descriptions. The service was poor throughout our stay. At one point, there was no water available, making it impossible to even clean ourselves. The rooms, toilets, and common areas were full of insects, mosquitoes, and bed bugs. Cleanliness and maintenance were completely lacking. Overall, a terrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, honest, or comfortable stay.

Very serene location and is located in the wraps of coffee plantation and tall trees. Stayed there for 2 days. 1 in colonial style villa and another in a wood house cottage. Both are best in their own terms with nicely priced. Little away from Madikeri main town. Complimentary breakfast is there. Naveen, the maintenance staff is very helpful. Need to wait for sometime if any food is ordered. Totally worth it 👌

Wooden cottages are very beautiful and situated on the lap of nature. It is surrounded by the coffee plants along with some other flower plants. This place is too close to nature and you will enjoy the peace here. We stay here for four days and all the services was good. This place is also safe and staffs are also good. But for food you just have to inform them prior as they serve homemade food mostly which will give you completely traditional South Indian home made taste. This place is 3KM far from Madikeri main market.

Nestled in a 13 acre coffee estate, this is an amazing place to spend time with your friends or family. They have 4 rooms above the main house & 4 cosy cottages a little distance away from it. The cottages are comfortable for 3 people, with 1 double bed & 1 single. The rooms are on the 1st floor and have a big sitting area available in the front. You can enjoy a walk around the estate in the morning to enjoy the beautiful weather and the fresh, clean air. The surroundings are very calm & quiet, giving you a sense of being at peace. They also have a pool, which was under repairs currently so we weren't able to use it. The food was great too, we asked for the Coorg specials in dinner & they were delicious. Breakfast was complimentary with the stay. Overall, a great place to spend some quality time. Will definitely be going back there again.

Serene and isolated place. Good cottage. Access is a little tricky especially at night for the lack of street lights on the way. The rooms had no storage space available. Kettle or tea maker not also not available. These can be worked upon.

We were there for three days! Such a beautiful place to stay with 2K range and that too with free breakfast!!. Very comfortable for family members. The caretaker (Mr. Suresh) was very attentive and supportive. Hospitality: ***** 5star Maintenance:**** 4star as of now! (They are renovating the wooden cottages) Location: ***** 5star Over all: 4.5

I stayed couple of years back for 2 nights. Decent place considering what I paid. I didn't stay in cottage because It was monsoon season and no guests were around. The room allotted I stayed was not very clean of my liking though. However, this is compensated by mouth watering food hosts had served. One have to order well ahead for lunch/dinner. The estate is quite big and enjoyed walking. However, it's not easy to locate and the access path to homestay is quite steep.

Perfect location for a peaceful, tension-free getaway from city life. The surrounding makes one feel a part of nature and the vivid colors of the trees around are fascinating. The wooden cottages are very comfortable and fulfill all requirements. Helper Suraj was of great help whenever needed. Food was excellent(good quantity and great taste). Would suggest this to anyone who want to spend time in the nature and disconnect from other distractions.
