Coorg Hideout

We had a fantastic experience staying at this homestay! The room was immaculate, spacious, and had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway. The owner was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We felt truly taken care of and enjoyed every interaction with them. One thing to note is that the location is quite isolated—it's tucked away deep in the forest and surrounded by lush coffee estates. It’s a great escape if you're looking for peace and a close-to-nature experience, but it may not be ideal if you’re hoping to be near the hustle and bustle of town. For those who enjoy tranquility and the charm of a remote location, though, this place is perfect! Would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a serene retreat in nature.

Very nice and comfortable homestay. The host was amazing and very helpful. The property is located deep into the the forest, so a hideout in actual sense. The place is cool and calm with fresh air and good food. The room and bathroom could be a little cleaner, there were lot of insects. But overall very good experience !👍

Beautiful location, amongst coffee fields,and natural settings. Neat and clean rooms, spacious with attached baths. Excellent home food . Natural fresh clean air. Very courteous host with no interference. Can go for long walks in nature or enjoy evening fresh coffee on the verandah overlooking greenery. Must stay there

If you're planning for an escape from all the tumult and noise, get yourself to this place. The hideout is located 5 km away from Madkeri Town and it is hidden from the main road, you'll need a guide for the first time to reach the place. The place itself is beautiful and the rooms are neat and well maintained and the hosts are really great and will treat you really well. Food is mind-blowing and make sure to have coffee as well. So, if you're looking to get away from the noise head here! (PS: Don't forget to pet Jimmy while you're here)

Enjoy, relax and unwimd in the lap of nature is how one can discribe this place. Each member you meet makes you feel at home, the food is nutritious and homely. A walk down the coffee plantations to the river stream is an experience not to miss.

Best place to stay if you are visiting Coorg. Loved the place very much. The place is so good that, I'm convinced to my core that I'll choose this place always everytime I visit Coorg. Hospitality is very good. Overall best place to stay if you want to go on a vacation where you can be calm and peaceful away from the city life.

As the name suggests, it's a hideout into the nature away from pollution and crowd, we stayed there for two nights, it is surrounded by coffee estate, the hospitality is amazing , thanks to Ashok for making us feel home,everything is nice, and special mention for the two pets Jimmy and Brandy 🙂
