My experience with the owner was not good. I forgot my knife that is very dear to me because it was a gift from my father. I called and text Sachin many many times to send it to me in India and he always says that he will do it but it’s been 4 months now. He doesn’t pick up my calls anymore and ignores my messages. This is not a nice service… about the stay : we wanted to have some peace in nature but there was another group that was having a party with loud music and screaming. The building and especially the bathroom could have some maintenance.

Location is too good in middle of jungle, host is helpful and friendly. Rooms are average and they have a kitchen too if you want to cook. Food service is not available though zomato and Swiggy are available

Overall good stay. Spacious. Cleanliness of toilets and wash basins provided can be improved. No toiletries provided. Camp fire provided was not worthy. Only wood logs were given and changed 700rs. I would suggest not to use the camp fire service as per our experience. 3 beds were available and comfortable. The service from the care taker were just average. The promises they gave related to camp fire were too high and the reality was below average. The lighting arrangements provided at night were good. Except the toilet cleanliness, unavailability of toiletries, below average camp fire experience the stay can be rated as good for the price they charge. Easily reachable place but don't follow google maps. Contact them before 10-15kms to the property. If properly managed, this property can become one of the best budget stays near madikeri.

This I felt was an ideal place to stay when visiting Madikeri. This place is not inside the city nor is it too far, it's around 5 kms from the city center giving easy access to city amenities also letting you enjoy the peace of nature. The rooms are small, clean, and cozy. Hot water is available all the time. The coffee estate is huge and you can spend a lot of time exploring the greenery. They have coffee, banana, jack fruit, mango, amla, chakota, butter fruit, and many many other varieties of trees inside. Daily good home cooked breakfast was provided, the family of the home stay maintainer was staying there. On request even dinner will be prepared both veg/non veg. The caretaker is extremely friendly. Camp fire will be arranged on request. Only one thing to be careful before booking is, as this is a big estate it is better suited for a group travel, not advised for couples as it can get a bit scary in the evenings. The best part was all this was available for a very less price.

great place to stay and the prices are very affordable, the best part is that it has 2 spacious bedrooms with perfect setup if you are planning to work remotely, wifi connectivity is excellent And tqsm sachin for everything 🤍
