We had a great time at Forest Valley Resort. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful forest views – perfect for a nature getaway. Food was delicious . The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and amenities like an infinity pool and access to the natural waterfall. Good wifi facility and 24-hour hot water and power back up. All the amenities were good at the location. Spacious parking space for cars and bikes. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

We stayed in wooden cottage for 3 nights. The place is well maintained, the cottage was neat, aesthetic and cosy. The whole homestay is surrounded by greenery, lots of trees and it was soothing to watch the rain. They have a pool though its shallow, a tiny natural waterfall and stream and the sound of the gurgling water added to the serenity of the place. The staff is helpful. The place is near to Madikeri town yet in a peaceful secluded location. All the local attractions are nearby. The road leading to this homestay is narrow and steep and one has to be careful of cars approaching from the other side. Now coming to the cons and the main reason for my overall rating...their food is not good. Breakfast options are very limited. We got dosas and there was no sambhar with it. The chutney was watery and full of mint. We had dinner on the 1st night and the chicken was stale. The fried rice had too much sauce and was soggy. Even their coffee was very bad which in a place like Coorg known for its coffee is very unexpected.For this reason, for the next 2 days we had all our food outside. There are good restaurants nearby which I will definitely recommend like Raintree, Stone hill, Big cup cafe, Kimberly, Thaliya etc. i had provided the feedback regarding food to the owner but didnt hear back. In a nutshell, for the same price i am sure you will get other options where the food is better. We had a car at our disposal so commuting was not a problem but it might not be possible for all to go out for all meals.

Loved the place. It's an amazing place for people who live in cities. As this place is away from sound and pollution and all greeny all around . But no insects and mosquitoes. Well maintained property.The staff is very helpful and ready to do all you ask them. Thank u all. The owner came and checked personally if we needed anything. Thank you. Would surely recommend to anyone

This stay is idle for someone looking for an escape from the city life, with private waterfall and extremely secluded naturally green environment. The location is away from the town, yet not too far. The rooms are big with 24 hour availability of hot water. The staff is very polite and helpful. The food served was very tasty and flavourful. Another plus point is that you don’t get mobile network, to completely disconnect from the outer world. The stay has plenty of car parking space. The approach road is a bit narrow but not too difficult to access by either two or four wheelers.

This property is close to the city yet far enough away to offer peace location. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and amenities like a pool and access to the natural waterfall. Good wifi facility and 24-hour hot water and power back up. All the amenities were good at the location. Spacious parking space for cars and bikes. I am really impressed with the staff service.

It’s a beautiful resort with infinity pool and small private falls. Location was very beautiful surrounding with lush green forest. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staffs were really good and food was amazing.

Located nearby the main road and down the hills. Mobile network not available but free wifi available. Breakfast is complimentary. Dinner can be informed prior by evening so that they can ready it on time. Food is good. The location and stay was cool. There is also a private small falls available which we can use There are some swings also.

The resort is quite amazing at the midst of forest as the name suggests. There's a natural waterfall as well to add to its beauty though water was less as compared to monsoons. There are multiple option of rooms with the top most category being the tree house. They have a restaurant as well which was beautifully maintained. There's a network connectivity issue for which you need to manage with wifi. The road leading to hotel is quite steep. So you need to be extra careful, though the owner is quite helpful. He can help you to pick and drop from main road. We had booked a standard room with single bedroom and a bathroom. The room size was fair enough with big windows, but you cannot open them due to insects and mosquitoes due to which room smells damp. Cleanliness could be improved as bedsheets were not clean and no place to dry our clothes. Food was really good. Breakfast served was delicious and in ample quantity. They also offer lunch and dinner which needs to be ordered before hand from a standard menu. Dinner was also tasty. Service was good. Staff was very active in helping you out. Overall it was a good experience!!
