Daffodil Homestay

You get what you pay for (2500 per room-night in end December 2023)! This homestay is essentially an AirBnB like set up where owner hands you the keys and then you are your own. Rooms are decent size with a double bed, two chairs, a table, two pillows, and two blankets. You can ask for towels or extra pillows. Nothing is provided in the bathroom. Seat of comode in our bathroom refused to stay up!||The common area has a dining table and a few chairs. Drinking water can be purchased at the property. You can use the basic kitchen at additional charges. View from the property is nothing worth mentioning. Stay has parking for 2-3 vehicles.||I will recommend it if you just need a cheap place to sleep but not much else. There is no room service/cleaning. Cupboards are dusty and so are additional linens.||---||As an aside, we booked this through Agoda but the owner moved us to Daffodil (with our permission) and cancelled the original booking (without permission) to collect payment directly to save his taxes and Agoda fees. So as a customer, I lost the cashback eligible after completing the stay. I have reviewed here not considering this unethical practice and loss just to be fair to the property but be warned.

Worst Place !! Not hygienic !! The owner is very arrogant. Not a good experience. Its better to burn your money than staying here and disrupt your peace of mind. (Never go here !!)

This is a homestay in Anachal where Munnar travelers can stay at low cost. You can stay here with or without family. Nice scenic spot.

Bad maintenance. Dirty kitchen. Left over food kept for days in kitchen . No hot water. Pathetic

Pathetic unhygienic place. Host is very rude. Complete waste of money.
