NillWe stayed at Le Farmhouse for three nights, and it was one of our highlights in our visit to India. Thanks in great part to the host/owner Gabriel, who showed us around his spice garden, and took care of us during our stay helping us with everything that we needed. I would strongly recommend you take the hike with Gabriel around Munnar. It takes about 6 to 8 hours, in which he explains to you a bit of history and botany. Moreover, make sure not to miss out on the delicious Puttu he serves for breakfast, one of the tastiest breakfasts we've had in our stay in India. If I have to complain about something, I would say that the bed was a bit hard and not that comfortable, and that the bathroom could have been a bit better. All in all, if I were to visit Munnar again, I'd definitely stay at Le Farmhouse.

NillOur stay at Le Farmhouse Munnar was amazing. The host is extremely nice and has a lot of knowledge to share, he gave us a tour through his spice garden and guided us through a beautiful hike which I would recommend if you are staying here. His place makes you feel comfortable, the breakfast tastes good and from the little rooftop you have a nice view. In general it is a nice place to calm down a little bit.

NillLe farmhouse is a wanderful place with a fantastic view on a huge spice garden. Gabrel, the owner, is a incredible host. He is very kind and welcoming, he helped us to organize the tour in munnar and the tour in periyar for the day after. The breakfast is very good, big and delicious. The room is comfortable and very clean.

NillMr. Gabriel was very friendly down to earth person. The best highlight of our whole trip was that it was well planned -ie 'where to go, when to go, what to cover on each direction etc'. And Mr. Gabriel planned all those for us.. Room was pretty decent, though little gloomy due to colour choices of interior. Breakfast was very pleasant (ambiance wise). Food and tea felt very homely... nice backyard as well...

★★★★★Wonderful place in the middle of the nature for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The host is extremely helpful and generous, he showed us his beautiful garden and made amazing breakfast for us. The room was spacious and fresh and the common areas are super nice! Extremely recommended if you’re planning to go to Munnar and be a bit out of the village chaos. We also made a jeep safari at sunrise and we rented a scooter to go to echo point and we saw wild elephants. Are stay at Le Farmhouse was wonderful and it’s Highly recommended!!

NillEverything was perfect! We originally planned to stay for one night but then we stayed for many more days! The host is super lovely, provided us with endless cups of coffee and tea. He took good care of us when my partner was sick. We enjoyed being in his spice garden so much. Vegan breakfast every day was a big plus for us! We will come back.

★★★★★We didn’t stay at Gabrial’s home stay we just met him at the little shop opposite his home. He asked us where we had come from. We chatted and he invited us into his home to look at his wonderful garden. |He was a very nice gentleman offering advice on places to visit. He ended up organising a jeep safari through a friend of his, Sunil, who was also very nice and helpful. We had a great day out driving through the countryside. We stopped at a roadside cafe we’re we had great banana fritter and a coffee (5 fritters and 3 coffee=115 rupees!!)

NillWe had a wonderful stay with Gabriel at Le Farmhouse. The breakfast was delicious and we even tried Gabriel's home grown coffee. The garden is very beautiful and full of spice plants. Gabriel is an excellent host and is full of interesting information - he can even quote Wordsworth from memory! The home stay is in a fairly remote location on the ridge of a mountain - it will cost you around 500 to get a tuktuk to Munnar town. There is a local bus that runs regularly from Anachal; the bus is cheap and has an amazing view. I'm a bit too tall to see out of a tuktuk so the bus was much better for me. There are a few restaurants and shops in walking distance; there is even a bar about 15 minutes walk away if you are so inclined. My favourite part of the stay was the bird song from the mountainside - there is great bird watching from the roof terrace of the home stay.
