We recently had a memorable family trip and chose to stay at Sukun on 30th May — and it turned out to be a perfect decision. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care that made us feel completely at home. A special mention to Vikas brother's mother, whose breakfast was not just delicious but filled with love — especially the Ela Ada.The presence of Ammu Chechy, with her fun-loving and cheerful personality, added so much joy to our stay — she's someone you won't forget easily! Vikas brother himself was incredibly helpful throughout our trip. He arranged a vehicle for us and kept checking in regularly to ensure we were comfortable. His support and kindness truly made him feel like family. We're also grateful to Narayan, the caretaker, for his quiet yet sincere service. Overall, Sukun is not just a place to stay — it's an experience filled with warmth, care, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a homely and heartfelt stay at Kannur.

Vikas Anna and his mother are so accommodating, they made us feel so comfortable during our stay. Auntie is so welcoming and sweet, she even sung for us. 🥰 The rooms are very clean and neatly kept, and the beds are very comfortable. Their beautiful heritage home is 65+ years old, and has so many unique features. The breakfast is excellent, you can easily access many places in Kannur from here. We will be back for sure. 🙏

Recently went to Sukun Homestay with group of People which is indeed a sukun place to stay , very quiet, peaceful vibes. Mr. Vikas was very helpful right from before we reached the homestay and guided to all the interesting places to visit in and around Kannur. It is well-located and is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, being of purely local cuisine. The house itself is almost 100 years old. And Mr. Vikas' mother, Ammu Aunty, Caretaker Shyam were helpful in every aspect . Stay was beautiful at the prestige location. I recommend If anyone is looking for Homestay in kannur do check out the Sukun Homestay.

Mr.Vikas and his staff at the Sukun Heritage was warm, welcoming, and attentive.The check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient. For a one-day stay, the homestay offers essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast. The breakfast features a variety of local Kerala dishes, which are flavorful and freshly prepared. Overall Experience: Sukun Heritage offers a perfect blend of comfort, tradition, and hospitality. The Sukun heritage stay by us was a wonderful ancestral home experience and had reminiscence of our childhood memories. The personal care taken by Vikas's mother was truly praiseworthy. The room we had stayed was spick and span and the amenities including the linen provided were absolutely clean. The traditional breakfast served during our stay added a truely magical touch. A special word for Vikas who helped in drawing out our itinerary for our visits, including visits to various temples and witnessing the Theyyam performance and also the food joints where we could relish the specialities of Kannur. Overall, we had a very memorable  experience.

Vikas then arranged for the 31st New Year’s Eve celebration which was the highlight of our visit! The fireworks display was spectacular, and the festive vibes were unmatched. A lovely experience in a quaint traditional kerala house with modern amenities. The property and the rooms were exceptionally clean and had an old World charm. The service was brilliant and the breakfast absolutely delicious and special mention to Vikas s mom who took special care of us and our kids by getting special food to the kids requirements. This was a stay with a difference that was made special because of a personal touch whether it was for food and comfort or travel and providing the most convenient location to navigate to - that personal touch made a huge difference for our stay. This will be my default recommendation for Kannur.

Every room is tastefully designed with modern comforts, striking the perfect balance between tradition and luxury. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts, ensured that our stay was comfortable sharing fascinating stories about the house’s legacy. A Mesmerizing Theyyam Experience Owner of this property, Vikas truly went out of his way to ensure we experienced Kerala’s cultural essence. Knowing our interest in traditional art forms, he arranged for us to witness a Theyyam performance, a rare and sacred ritual in northern Kerala.This wasn’t just a cultural experience—it was a spiritual journey. He personally took us to visit the nearby Kunnavu Temple pond. Walking through winding village paths, we learned about the sacred temple and pond's centuries-old traditions and its significance in the local community. connecting me to Kannur’s rich spiritual traditions. Thank You Sukun Heritage for a wonderful stay!! .
