Nila Home Stay on Cherai Beach in Kochi offers a fantastic experience, being very close to the seashore. The balcony view is stunning, allowing you to enjoy the tide waves right from your room. The interior design is impressive, and its proximity to the mainline area makes it convenient. With Cherai Beach just 200 meters away, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

Simple homestay with minimal facilities. The host was helpful, polite and knowledgable. The place was not comfortable enough for us, as there was no air conditioner in such hot weather. Also, the parking space was small and we dented our car while parking.

Waste money..pls dont go with the images.. All wrong. Mosquities, no blanket. We checked out at 1.30 am.

I stayed here with two friends for the entire month of May, and I could not have asked for more. This place is tucked in at a quiet end of Cherai Beach, a stone's throw from the Arabian Sea. Built in the traditional style with a balcony, en-suite, fridge, TV, and 2 strong fans. |Delicious breakfast every morning- different every day, and all of your needs will be provided for. Rajeev organised scooters, bicycles, tour guides, free yoga lessons with a 90yr old guru, and cheap rates on massages and Ayurvedic treatment. |The family are so so warm and lovely, we had great fun with the kids and grandma- who quite happily chats away to you in Malayalam whether you speak it or not. |I'd recommend this place to anybody, and go back again and again- 5 stars from me.

The ideal home stay experience with a lovely Keralite family. The house is right on the beach road with guest rooms on a terrace that overlooks the Arabian Sea. Ask for the rooms with the sea view if they're available. Can't get closer to the sea than this! Open your front door to views in the pics. Breakfast was delicious local cuisine prepared by the family. Comfortably away from the crowded beach spots, this is absolutely a serene and peaceful experience with warm hosts Rajeev and family.

We arrived here intending to stay for 1 night and ended up staying for 3. The location of this place really makes it - sea views when lying in bed and only have to cross the road to be on the beach. The host family have shown amazing hospitality - always friendly, served us delicious Indian breakfast every morning (always something different) and have been very helpful in suggesting things to do/places to see. The host also organised scooter hire for us, yoga classes and a tuk tuk to pick us up when we left. The room is private with its own bathroom and fridge 😊😊

Me and my girlfriend based ourselves here for 3 weeks over Christmas and new year. What a fantastic time we had. The room is very clean and has all you need for a hut near the beach. The location is literally across the road from the beach and a couple of minutes walk to the Centre of Cherai beach. Here you can also get a rickshaw or taxi to anywhere you wish to go. The owners of nila are really friendly and very helpful, making sure you have clean bedding and most days if you are awake, breakfast too. Highly recommend this place, great price to go with it.

I stayed in Rajeev and SriDevi's wonderful 'homestay' room.The room was very roomy,clean, decorated in a traditional fashion with an en suit toilet and shower.The family is kind and welcoming.Security first class. The breakfasts cooked by the family were wonderful,memorable.The room is located close to restaurants.pubs and shops.||Rajeev will kindly help arrange any trips with local drivers and is always eager to offer ideas.||I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this 'homestay'.Please try it ,you will be glad you did !!||I can't wait to go back!
