★★★★★We had such a relaxing time staying at the Beechboro Homestay. The location was very convenient for exploring Fort Cochin and Arlene was such a welcoming host. She provided some great recommendations for local shops and restaurants and also gave us some insight into local recipes. Breakfasts each morning were a treat as well. ||We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs at the back and it was great. It was clean and had wifi, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom, we couldn't ask for anything more.

★★★★★My husband and I stayed at Beechboro in Fort Cochin twice in our short stay in Kerala. It felt very natural at Arlene's place - she is a wonderful host and such a vibrant character. It has the vibe of a 'home away from home'. It is in a great location near to all the galleries, museums, cafes and some great restaurants in a quiet part of Fort Cochin. Breakfast consisted of fruits, omelettes, eggs and toast and tea/coffee. The rooms were very clean with clean towels and bottled water provided. All rooms have on-suite bathroom facilities. The rooms vary in price. For a small room it is very reasonable and you can pay more if you would like more privacy and a terrace area to yourself. I communicated with her son Andre a lot about our visit and he was lovely and very helpful. Overall Beechboro is a great place to stay and I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Cochin! Very very highly recommended. Lovely place to stay.

★★★★★Discovering this place was pure luck as this place is a gem for staying in Fort Kochi. Me and my partner had a lovely stay in Arlene's place. She is a lovely and caring person. Her Home is 17th century house filled with history and beautiful artifacts collected by her throughout the years. We had a nice room with a bathtub, spacious and clean with AC, location of the place is 10 minutes from the beach and in walking distance for must of attractions in the area. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. I would definitely recommend this place - especially for adults visitors and couples :)

★★★★★Stayed in fort Cochin for over a week and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Arlene made me feel right at home with home cooked breakfasts and her welcoming nature. She provided wonderful recommendations for things to do, where to shop and insight into the history and culture of the local area. Nothing was too hard for Arlene to organise, she really went above and beyond to make sure all of her guests were catered for.||The room was clean and tidy and was fitted with air con and fans which made escaping the humidity of the day very pleasant. The house and all of its facilities are in good condition. ||Thank you for making my experience in Cochin unique and wonderful Arlene. Will definitely be back soon!

★★★★★We stayed at Beechboro Home Stay in Fort Cochin for 10 days. We absolutely loved the whole experience. The home itself was well maintained with spacious rooms available with bathrooms adjoining, air conditioning, consistent wi fi. Access to clean drinking water at all times. The host Arlene was more than accommodating to food preferences and offered home cooked food which was awesome! If you ask she’s also happy to teach. The location is perfect, with quick access to a variety of shops and quick walk to the beach. If you decide to eat out, Arlene will always recommend the right places for you which are all close by. Tours, massages, or any other appointments can be made through her with great advice on what to do and what to avoid. Thanks for the most amazing time Beechboro! We’ll be back

★★★★★Our two days stay here was very comfortable. A beautiful home, lovingly renovated and maintained, the rooms were very clean and had all necessary amenities. The home is centrally located in Fort Kochi, within walkable distance to all the site's. Arlene was an awesome host and gave us lots of good info. Highly recommend for solo travellers and families.

★★★★★It was my first trip to Fort Cochin, and was really happy we chose to stay at Beechboro. The rooms were great, and had a really nice classic style. The location was perfect for getting around, and really close to the beach, but also on a nice quiet road. Also, the breakfast - delicious!||||Arlene/Randall couldn't have been more helpful. They helped us a lot with recommending places to go, places to eat, and sights/shops to see. They also really went out of their way to help us get a driver for a few days. ||||It was my first trip to Cochin, but definitely not the last, and will be back to stay here next time for sure. Thanks for everything :)

★★★★★If your travelling alone or with family to Kochi in India, the best place to stay is Beechboro on Napier St. Fort Kochi, because of its ideal location. It is just minutes walk to the beach and surrounded by historical places and amazing restaurants. But, I personally preferred Arlene Bernard's home cooked food and I enjoyed the company of their whole family as they were down from the Middle East to spend their Christmas Vacation. ||||Even though they have big air conditioned rooms, as a solo traveler, I enjoyed the smallest bedroom worth 1500 INR per night. I was happy to attend the Christmas tree event, midnight Christmas mass, a wedding and the New Year dance. I also enjoyed travelling by boat and the auto riksha to Lulu, the biggest mall in Kerala. I even enjoyed the local food at a toddy shop at Nettor.||||It was such a memorable experience. I will surely be back to explore the rest of Kerala and India soon. ||||P.S. Arlene Bernard, please keep room 6 for me. :)
