Kumbalangi Puzhayoram Homestay

I had a disappointing experience at Puzhayoram Homestay, The service and behaviour of the host was very bad and he was a very greedy and dishonest person. seemed very good person till the money paid. After the payment he took 180° turn. Communication was a hassle, Adding to the disappointment, the food was below average, lacking freshness and authenticity, I think he bought food outside and served it, because when we ate the food was cold and dry and the price was very high. The property itself, though located in a scenic area and average rooms. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless there is a significant improvement in host honesty and behaviour. If anyone is planning to stay here make communication clearly and have some evidence of the same, very important confirm check in and check out time and never order food in home stay.

From the moment we arrived, the host Serjil made us feel right at home with his warm and genuine hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The local food served supervised by his wife Francy was simply outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and a true reflection of the region's culinary heritage. Every meal felt like a feast, and the owners took great care in accommodating our preferences. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day full of activities. The serene surroundings added to the peaceful atmosphere, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. The sunrise views every morning from this property was breathtaking! There was never a dull moment, thanks to the fantastic range of activities available – from boating and fishing to visiting local cottage industries and spending time at the nearby beach. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a place to recharge, this homestay offers the best of both worlds. Overall, we highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat with top-notch hospitality, delicious food, and plenty of fun activities. We’ll definitely be back! We had an incredible stay at Kumbalangi Puzhayoram Home Stay! The hosts were warm and welcoming.The rooms were so clean. The surrounding area was serene and peaceful, with stunning views of the backwaters.The homemade food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of local specialties to try. Overall, our stay at Kumbalangi Puzhayoram Home Stay was an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine, homely experience in Kerala.

2 days ago we went to Kumbalanghi Puzhayoram Kochi and we had a great experience. The host was superb cool and kind, we never had this much lovely hospitality ever before, such a lovely man. The main thing that attracted us is their scenery. We can watch both sunrise and sunset and they'll provide the things for it. Very clean room, amazing food. Moreover we have a very great experience

Worst experience.. Waste of money. Food was just average.The rooms was below average. There is no heater facilities available. Even when we asked for an iron box they denyed to provide the same. Felt like owners just need money and can't give any service...

I had multiple visits at Kumbalangi Puzhayoram Homestay Kochi. The host family was super helpful and made sure I had a good time during my stay. Also I attended a Christmas celebration hosted here by Kerala HATS. The venue was spacious and looked really beautiful with the view. Food served was delicious and I also had a good time engaging in fishing. Much recommended spot for stay and events in Kumbalangi and Kochi. Looking forward to staying again.

Kumbalangi Puzhayoram homestay is a very good homestay...The hopitality was truly exceptional and deserving of the highest praise.Every penny we gave was really worthwhile. The most attracting thing is that the host is really friendly to us. And to every members there ,we can talk freely....There was a son of the owner.. he's really adorable and cute...We can feel it as our own home... The food they provide was really delicious... I went with my family...and everyone liked it..I haven't eaten such a homely n tasty food for a longwhile...we can evn do fishing there. We can have whichever food we want n every food they make is just awesome n can't be expressed by words..... The ambience there is really nice....the backwatesrs, boats, coconut trees, nature, chinese fish net, mangroves ,huts n all give us a good vibe. The rooms r also very good n its worth the money and it's very cozy too.... We stayed there for 3 days, n my children was so reluctant to leave there...to be honest,I was also sad when I leaved there.... I highly recommend this kumbalangi Puzhayoram homestay to everyone. U should really visit there , it will be an unforgettable experience for sure....

Last week, my office staff and I had this home style called Kumbalanghi Puzhayoram Homestay. It's a perfect place for us to do enjoying.We feel that this is a budget friendly homestay that is perfect for us.I think one of the special things about this place is that we can see both sunset and sunrise here.Truly a nice place with a rustic feel and a good homestay. The host was very sincere and kind they provided us whatever we need.Also we cooked the fish we catch live from there.We love this place.Must visit place
