My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Elizabeth and Joseph. They were so welcoming, kind, and helpful during our 4 days in Kochi. Their home is very clean and comfortable. It is a good location within walking distance to all of the sights in Fort Kochi. We really enjoyed breakfast and getting to talk with both Elizabeth and Joseph who are both easy and pleasant to talk to. We especially liked hearing their thoughts on aspects of the culture and history of Kerala and how it compares to the rest of India. For a few days, we felt we really got to be part of a family which made our experience so unique and lovely.

My husband and I spent the 31st night in this wonderful homestay. You will feel a lot of warmth from the time you enter the homestay cause of the very amicable hosts Joseph and Elizabeth. Though it was a short stay, We enjoyed it a lot. The room and the bathroom was very clean . Joseph and Elizabeth provided us with all the local guidance needed . We had an amazing start to the year 2019 with with a grand and delicious breakfast spread prepared by Elizabeth. The host family is very welcoming and makes you feel at home every moment.I would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again :)

We are a group of four couples that stayed at Aroma Homestay for 9 nights in late March 2018. We could not have had a better experience of a Homestay than the one we had here. Elizabeth and Joseph are outstanding hosts. The effort they put into making you feel welcome and cared for was the highlight of our stay. We can echo the sentiments of all the other reviewers. We were enthralled with the stunning array of breakfasts on offer. The willingness of our host to cater for any of our requests was very much appreciated. After being on the road for the past month it was a welcome relief to chill out in a Homestay. Aroma Homestay has our collective recommendation from the Hastings Family.

We spent 10 nights and 10 days at Elizabeth & Joseph 's and we felt very much in the family. Every morning, they prepare a different keralais breakfast and bring you to appreciate this food so different from our habits.||The rooms and bathrooms are clean and functional. Sheets and towels are changed every 3 days. These charming hosts are good advice and very open to all discussions.||The host family is close to many places to frequent Fort Kochi. ||Thanks again Elizabeth & Joseph for your kindness .||Katy

When we travel, we value making friends with the local people. Joseph and Elizabeth, Aroma hosts, are exceptionally warm and friendly people. They truly treated us as though we were part of their family and they went out of their way to help us with any requests we had: destination help, purchasing performance tickets, helping with transport, etc. ||Four modern bedrooms, each with its own bath are on the second floor with a large common room between. Each room has its own key. There are fans and a/c in all the rooms. WiFi is sketchy here, but that’s not Aroma’s fault, that’s just how it is in much of India.||Joseph and Elizabeth will serve amazing breakfasts featuring local dishes.||Aroma is conveniently located near restaurants, historic churches, the Kathakali theatre (a must see!), and the waterfront. Plus, there is a motor-rickshaw stand right in front of Aroma so transportation is a breeze.||We very much enjoyed our stay at Aroma and the time we spent with Joseph and Elizabeth. We highly recommend Aroma Homestay.

We stayed at the Aroma Homestay at the beginning of our travels in Kerala and at the end of our holiday as well.|Joseph and Elizabeth are excellent hosts, from the moment we were picked up from the airport (arranged by Joseph) we were at ease.|We were greeted with a welcoming drink of fruit juice, and then shown our rooms, fully air conditioned. |Breakfasts were generous and very tasty, our hosts were a mine of information on where to go, where to eat, also Joseph booked tickets for us to go to the KathaKali and we had excellent seats. In addition we were told how to book tickets for our train journey back from Trivandrum to Kochi after our road trip. What a lovely way to start and finish our adventures in Kerala.|Just a footnote, our flight back was at silly oclock in the morning, our hosts were up early and packed a cooked breakfast for us which was most welcome when we were fully awake in the airport lounge. Thank you lovely people. ||

The best homestay I have ever been! We came with a German research team of five and stayed at Joseph's and Elisabeth's place for two weeks. Both of them are very interesting, lovely people who have a great mission which is making their guests being happy. Every morning they surprised us with different traditional Keralan style breakfasts. They have a large living room for their guests with sofa and tables etc. which we turned into an office for two weeks. AC, hygiene, lights, bathroom, beds... everything very new and in oerfect condition. Also, they give you all kind of information for good restaurants, local shopping or sightseeing. I especially enjoyed our discussions on Indian culture, Western culture and Keralan exceptions. ;)

We had a fantastic experience staying with Elizabeth, Joseph and family. Elizabeth is a superb cook and does over 9 different breakfasts over our stay. Nothing is too much. Joseph organised our transport, taxi’s tuk tuk’s with a lovely man called Anthony. I broke my leg towards the end of our holiday and when we returned from our adventures Elizabeth and Joseph,s family Mothered me like one of their own. It’s a Lovely village not noisy and full of kind people that go out of their way to help. Thank you Elizabeth and Joseph a stunning wonderful time and experience and Pete and Sally will never forget you xxx
