Steamer House Homestay

There are a lot of really good reasons to stay here: the family is sweet and will accept you as their own, the food is amazing (I didn't know you could do so much with bananas!), and the wifi works really well (although you should mention to the host if you need to use it at night). But most amazingly is that this place is SO clean, I don't even understand how they do it. I had been struggling with breathing issues in a lot of places in Kochi and this is the only place I could stay without having any problems. It was a little hard not having anywhere to put my clothes (there's a tiny cabinet under the sink but nothing other than that), but otherwise I can't think of anything that would have made it better. They even let me take art classes in my room and I got to make some cool watercolors like what's pictured! Also, watching Tinsy is so inspiring. She's managed to run this place, make food, teach her own classes, alter clothes.... And still maintain such a kind demeanor? It's just...Wow Jenson too, with his flower arrangements and attention to detail in the structure of the house. Definitely take the opportunity to get to know them if you're there. You will not regret it. I miss you guys and I hope to visit again soon.

The steamer house homestay is clean and very aesthetic. It's walkable (around 1km ) from Fort Kochi beach and right opposite the INS Dhronacharia main gate.

Wow what a great accommodation. The room was very spacious, modern and bed super comfortable. AC worked fantastic. Breakfasts were out of this world delicious and family was very warm and accommodating. I definitely recommend this place for quality, price and location.

During my stay, the hosts were very attentive and friendly. They prepared breakfast meticulously and tended to our requirements. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location was quiet yet convenient. It was a great experience for a first-time visitor to Kerala and we were very impressed and grateful.

The best homestay in Fort Cochi. Absolutely lovely and very generous family. They made for us beautiful breakfast and great coffee. This room has everything- big Europian bathroom, quiet air con (which is rarely in India), modern , clean and new rooms. Only on this house I could take a good rest Thank you very much 🙌

Lovely place!! Beautiful view... extraordinary location I could find in Fort Kochi. Beach near.. Home located at elegant beach road is one of major attraction. Unique ambience. Best for stay.

It is one of the best stay i have ever been.the hospitality was exceptional.They were so kind and caring.They show good care for their guests.the rate was so nominal and we really felt we were in home.The food was so exceptional and it was an owesome place.though we stayed for a short period,we were totally satisfied.
