Jungle View homestay

Our stay at jungle view home stay was a very pleasant one! The owners were so kind and gave us more blankets, borrowed cutlery, gave us tips on how to get around, by ordering a rickshaw late at night for the next morning. The room was fine and we had dinner on the balcony, with a view into the jungle surrounding the house! Beautiful :) You can also ask them to book tours in Periyar when you book you stay with them!

The stay was very comfortable and affordable. The place is just on the border with forest yet not isolated. Breakfast was tasty . Rooms are airy and big with nice verandah. Bathroom was big and neat . The caretaker and family is always available for any help.

We had a great experience staying at this homestay. The host was very welcoming and they have decorated the place really well, carefully curating the different items. It is just on the edge of the jungle so you would enjoy all the beautiful voices of different types of birds. Room and bathroom are also very clean and nice.

Stayed two days here. The homestay manager updated all things. He called our team for travel updates. The Homestay ambience was super and calm. Arranged many trees and plants. Well maintained. The tea was great taste. The room was clean. Have free wifi. Hot water is available for bathing. Recommended place for stay. Nice behaviour. #room #homestay

It was a nice place at the edge of the forest at Thekkady. Environment is very calm and quiet, with often viewing of Malbar squirrel, monkeys etc.

The eco-friendly approach they’ve taken is truly commendable, with creative use of material waste to decorate the entire property, giving it a unique and charming character. Affordability is another major plus – the rates are very reasonable considering the quality of experience offered. The host, Mr. Naseer, is incredibly gentle and polite, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. He even provided us with utensils from his own home so we could cook our meals, showcasing his warm hospitality. The homestay also boasts a small library with an impressive collection of books and a fascinating assortment of antiques. The early morning birds humming sound is very satisfying and pleasant to listen to, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. With its kitchenette facilities and serene surroundings, Jungle View Homestay is a must-visit for nature lovers. Highly recommended!

Worth for money we did stay during sabarimala trip. The team was kind and friendly. Rooms were very decent and clean.
