"Family friendly homestay with nice forest view". We stayed in WildWindow homestay for 3days. A lovely couple who manages the homestay was the first thing that still stay in our heart. The forest view is another attraction of this place. The balcony opens directly to this wonderful view, which is an eyepleaser for all the ones who love greenary. We were lucky to get some animal sightings as well, like wild boar and sambar dear. Room was spacious enough. Other amenities were, hot water availability, power backup & wifi. Overall a peaceful stay with proximity to all the activities in Thekkady.

We had an amazing stay at Wild Window Homestay in Thekkady! The location is absolutely perfect for nature lovers, offering stunning views of the surrounding wilderness right from the rooms. The homestay is beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that make you feel right at home. The hosts ,Mr.George and Shanty were incredibly warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the sound of nature, made this stay truly relaxing and rejuvenating. If you're looking for a cozy, serene escape in the heart of Thekkady, I highly recommend Wild Window Homestay

Planning a trip to Thekkady? Don't hesitate!!!. Reach out to George and book this place. And be sure to try the beef curry – it's the most delicious beef I've ever tasted!!. There hospitality was heartfelt and he would help in all ways possible. I just left today and have already recommended it to two of my friends."

First things first, the owner is a weird guy. Charges 25 rupees per water bottle per room, which should be complimentary. Gave us the second floor room saying you'll get some peace and quiet, when it was really a menace! Broken ceiling (false ceiling), bathroom that clogs while we bath were few of the inconveniences we faced. Vacated a few hours earlier, after having a bad experience with monkeys from the nearby forest area. Though the owner had mentioned that it'd be better if we had food in the dining area, we didn't know there would be the menace of monkeys the next morning, due to which we lost our sleep early in the morning and couldn't get out of our rooms until much later. Were instructed to wash our teacups when all this is part of what we pay for I guess, or these should be mentioned upfront in the terms and conditions while booking the room! Not even a proper full sized or even half mirror! Definitely overpriced for the facilities and inconveniences. The only respite was the aunty who felt sorry for the monkey menace.

My stay at Wild Window Resort was nothing short of spectacular. This hidden gem, boasting just five exclusive rooms, offers a unique and intimate experience in the heart of nature. Each room is impeccably designed to accommodate two guests, ensuring a perfect blend of comfort and privacy. What sets Wild Window Resort apart from the myriad of other accommodations in the area is its unparalleled forest frontage. This is the only resort in the vicinity where you can enjoy the thrill of watching wild animals right from your balcony. As night falls, the forest comes alive, offering a mesmerizing spectacle of wildlife activity that you simply can't find anywhere else. The rooms themselves are excellent, featuring modern amenities while maintaining a cozy, rustic charm that complements the surrounding wilderness. The attention to detail in the decor and the quality of service provided by the staff are truly commendable. Each room is a sanctuary, offering a tranquil retreat after a day of exploring the forest. In conclusion, Wild Window Resort is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a unique getaway. The combination of luxurious rooms, exclusive forest frontage, and the rare opportunity to observe wildlife up close makes it a standout destination. I highly recommend this resort for an unforgettable stay.

Dear Mrs. & Mr. George, I apologize for the delayed review; business travel has kept me busy for a while. For anyone traveling to this part of the world, WILD WINDOW HOMESTAY is an absolute gem if you're looking to experience a stay in the wild. The rooms offer a good forest view and while you might get a friendly morning visit from the monkeys, that's part of the charm of being so close to nature. We stayed for a night on Feb 16th and were fortunate to spot a few wild animals at midnight, just as Mr. George suggested. The hospitality from both Mrs. & Mr. George is unmatched. Their personalized attention to our needs is a rare find in this sector. Thank you for everything and for being such exceptional human beings. Stay blessed always. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Kerala. Happy hosting! ❤️

Booked the ppty online for stay with my family a day ago, the room was located at the start of the tiger reserve- not in a great way. The stay was silent as we expected it to be, but we were not informed there would be monkeys visiting us in the rooms. The rooms have false ceiling and the roof is covered by a shed. There is a small space called “dining area” which is practically a caged space for people to dine so that they dont have any monkey encounters- we understood this only after a very disturbing experience with monkeys from 5 AM in the morning. Since 5 in the morning monkeys (I am referring to group of some 5 or 6) kept running on the shed and it was very noisy. Not just that they even koncked at our windows furiously since we did not leave anything edible outside for them. We were a group of 4 occupying 2 rooms and since 5 in the morning because of this monkey force, we werent able to sleep nor step out of the rooms for even water. The play finally subsided at around 9 in the morning after which we rushed to vacate the ppty. We were also asked to wash the teacups and pick up the cups and kettle from the reception everytime we ordered tea (we were given rooms on the 2nd floor and the reception was on the ground floor even after booking the ppty one and a half months back). On the whole the ppty is overpriced, not greatly located, no room service and not worth the effort we took to book the ppty.
