Mundakal Paradise

The owner is really gem of a person. So kind and friendly. Will provide an additional service if you look out for. Apart from the room we booked for, he made the night special by allowing us to use the kitchen at the balcony and provided the audio speakers for the perfect night. Never get irritated and is always a person to ready to help and I never visited such a rooms with great friendly hospitality. I would give more than 5 star. More than renting the room, i believe he just love the work he do. God bless for his kind nature.

Centrally located.The room & bathroom were big and sparkling clean .Very warm and courteous host we havve ever met.. The whole family took excellent care of us .we were early to check in and late to check out , when we offered to pay extra they refused and said no problem as there is no other booking . Nishanth's mother was so good she prepared breakfast without onion and garlic to suit my husband's food. Nishanth (owner)even dropped us back in the bus station . Very memorable stay at Mundakal paradise. We highly recommand this place.

Simple home stay neat and clean rooms.500 meters from the main marking Owner is supportive and helpful.They served good tea coffee as and when required and Even helped me getting my 18 months baby feeding bottle , milk flask washing.3 adults with 2 kids can easily stay in one room as its quite big. Thank you we enjoyed are stay.

Awesome homestay. As good as a 3-4 star hotel. Rooms are excellent with huge spacious bathroom . Too good to stay especially with family. They have only six such rooms and are almost always full. In Thekkady no hotel have views so does this. If u really want to enjoy Thekkady then better book a ktdc room inside the sanctuary.

My experience of staying at Mundakal Paradise was awesome. It truly lives up to its existence as "Homestay". It was fresh, neat and clean. Vast rooms with great facilities. Nishanth (Owner) was full of gratitude and was very helpful. He also suggested the nearby activities. The main market is also very close and the Ticket counter for Periyar Tiger Reserve was at walking distance.

0.6 KMS from Kumily bus stand..market and bus stand are walkable distance. Jeep and taxi for sightseeing are very near. Very neat and clean rooms and bathroom at very competitive price. Definitely recommend for future stay. Stayed in June 19 with family. Owner Nishanth is very cooperative and easygoing. Provided all the information for smooth travel across thekkady and return. Big thank you.

Mundakal Paradise review Thekkady - 17-19 may - Goibibo good room big room for this budget min but necessary facilities Nishantji exceptional person. He helped us exceptionally at every Moment for which 10star is insufficient. I already insisted my friend to book the same hotel. With such kind of service I would pay the amount even for the hut. Never seen such a passionate person about service. God bless him with Big hotel. Thanks Goibibo for this homestay. I feel I found a good friend in Mr Nishant.

Nishant and his parents are awesome. They are very helpful. Nishant booked the Kathakali and Kalari pattu show tickets for us. He also guided us about the periyar lake boat ride and nearby good restaurants. He waked us early in the morning with hot tea and guided us for booking the tickets for boat ride. It was a short but great stay.
