We had the best experience staying here. The host was very polite and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. They suggested very good place for sightseeing and also helped us buy tickets for kalari and kathakalli shows. The location is also very good. The market and shows were at walking distance

This stay is right in the middle of thekkady and very easy accessible. Amazing hosts found in here. Mr. Selvaraj took efforts to fulfill every requests possible and is very accommodating. The place is quiet away from the hassle bustle of the cities. As beautiful is the place in itself. Probably a homely stay in thekkady you can trust. They have a parking too in the property. Overall a blindly chosen places which worked wonders. Beautiful accomodation with greens.

Darren and I booked Able Homestay for 1 night and stayed for 5! It is such a comfortable place to stay, we felt very much at home and the room was excellent value for money. Selvaraj is a kind and helpful gentleman who gave us tips and info on the area, made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well during our stay. The location is great, so close to all Kumily has to offer but in a quiet area. Perfect place to stay in this town, we absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Thekkady!

Able homestay is a very good inexpensive option. The rooms are clean and the homestay owner was very kind, helped us arrange our visit to the national park and gave several suggestions on what to do in Kumily. The location is a short walk to the main area. The accommodation is simple so you need to bring your own soaps, toilet paper etc but it is nice.

Very calm place, owner & wife are precious people, and made feel us at home like we were part of their family, good homemade food, we stayed there for two nights and we felt very well. The room&bathroom were really clean. Nice talking and precise directions to places to visit and where to go to get what we needed. He even came to say goodbye to the bus stand🥺❤️thank you

Inexpensive and cozy place to stay in Kumily! Everything in town is within walking distance so location is fine. The room is clean and quiet. And Selvaraj is always around to offer both help and privacy. He gave me very helpful information about Periyar upon my arrival. A great, economical choice for Kumily.

We had a very pleasant stay (couple). The owner was helpful and helped planning our day(s). I was taken care of when I fell sick. The room itself is very clean and neat. The family are really good cooks, their dinner is recommended!
