The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had a comfortable, hassle free stay. The rooms were clean, well connected and had great location access to nearby tourist spots. They also ended our trip with a wholesome homemade breakfast.

Our recent family trip to Thekkady was made more memorable because of this home stay. The rooms were freshly renovated and we loved the simple and modern architecture of the place, surrounded by the lush green landscape of Thekkady. The glass balconies added to the comfort of the rooms as it rained and gave us a great view to look at, and a great place for conversations. Not to mention how much the hosts helped us out, from booking the rooms and getting there, to even planning an itinerary and ensuring that we got tickets to the Periyar tiger reserve boating. We honestly wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience 🤍

We were 3 families about 15 people and they the rooms were comfortable enough to accommodate all. The location was nice, in the middle of the town but overlooking a coffee estate so it was very peaceful away from the crowd in the main roads. The hosts were very courteous and friendly. Right from the day we checked in to the day we checked out, they ensured that our stay was enjoyable. They had arranged for home-made food for us and it was simple and delicious. ||||If you are someone who likes to stay in comfortable hotels with all amenities, then this place is not for you. The rooms are very basic, but you get the experience of staying in a typical house in Kerala, eat local food and enjoy the hosts hospitality. You wouldn't get this in a 5 star hotel.

It is one of the first homestays started out in Thekkady as mentioned by lovely lady who runs this establishment. Rooms are clean and spacious, well worth the money. However there are some minor areas for improvement though. Bedside plug point was not working properly, Water pressure at the wash basin wasn't enough, ceiling fan was noisy (you wouldn't need fan for most seasons here though). I guess these are just me knitpicking and they might have been already on it. The weekend was pretty busy in Thekkady and all places were fully booked. This place warmly welcomed me and she is also an expert of the area. She will provide you with all details needed for your exploration of the area. I will recommend this for solo and family travelers as its safe and clean and well maintained overall.

It would take a 5* hotel to find a comparable degree of warmth and hospitality offered to us by the owner, Suchara (probably ungraciously misspelled here), except at Mickeys it's genuine. The rooms are clean, the balcony is relaxing and the artwork around the upstairs courtyard is tasteful. We had several tours and activities all booked from the homestay which were all excellent. There are a few decent restaurants around the immediate area if you don't wish to venture into the relative madness of Kumily, although it's worth checking out.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners are very friendly, and the rooms are great for the price. Ours had an absolutely brilliant balcony with a bench and a swing. I loved staying here to read. It's also very close to Periyar National Park, and there are good restaurants nearby. The rooms are basic, but comfortable enough.

Wonderful, friendly hosts who go the extra mile. We booked the Indian cooking class with Shajahan (the tour guide) and his wife Rejula. It was a fantastic experience that I will never forget. The homestay was the best we stayed at in Kerala. Beautiful terrace with rattan swing chair to watch the sunset. Highly recommend.
