We spend a night over there. Marari beach is very clean and not crowded. Host is very friendly. Clean room and bathroom. Blanket was not provided though it was ac rooms. Parking is in an open ground but relatively safe as nearby homestays don't have parking spaces and everybody park over there.. But the stay gives an experience of true coastal village life.

It was nice stay with family, we stayed for 2 Days and the property was food good. Lot of greenery , very close to the beach . Hospitality was very good and especially the yummy breakfast we got in these 2 days. Owner has also guided us where we can visit and also helped to book the shikara ride for us. Overall it was super nice stay in the property. Definitely will recommend to others.

Our experience with this homestay was absolutely terrible. We were a group of four girls who had a confirmed booking, but when we arrived at Marari on the day of check-in, they refused to accommodate us. Despite our advance booking, they offered no explanation or solution, leaving us stranded in an unfamiliar place with no other stays available nearby. Their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for their guests’ safety and well-being is shocking. We had to scramble to find alternative accommodation, which disrupted our entire trip. I strongly advise against booking this place. If they cannot honor confirmed reservations, they should not be in the hospitality business.

Marari John Beach Villa is a really nice place to stay. It feels very serene and is at walking distance from the beach. The hospitality was amazing. It's a calm and serene place. The food served to us was tasty. In between at night we were facing a little bit of issues from the AC in the room upstairs due to voltage fluctuations, but it worked well later in the night. Overall a very nice place to stay.

We booked this property through MMT with full payment. The day before the booking date we received a message on whatsapp asking to cancel the booking as they had no availability. When we reached out to MMT, they contacted the host and we were reassured that the booking was valid and that we could checkin as per the booking the next day. We called the host and spoke to Mr John and he also told us that the message was sent by his son by mistake and that the booking is valid and we would not face any issues with check in the next day. When we reached the property and called the host, they declined to check in saying they do not have any availability. They spoke to us in a hostile manner. The reasons they gave us did not make any sense and we had to bear the brunt of the miscommunication that is happening within the host's family. It was a very horrible experience. The lack of minimum professionalism that is expected from someone running a hospitality business was shocking.

Best location, see the sunset , beautiful rooms, has ac, plenty windows,large rooms. Big balcony and gardens, john and Sara will keep your beer cool. Amazing hosts. We had other rooms here in other locations but this best by far. I will return. Oh the beach is amazing.

We booked this property via MMT by paying full amount and received the booking confirmation. We booked this property with full amount atleast a week before the checkin date. But the host texted us via whatsapp on the day before checkin to cancel the booking as there is no room availability. We reached out to MMT immediately and the host spoke to MMT and confirmed the booking and assured there won’t be any issues and reconfirmed the booking. We travelled to Marari as planned and when we reached the property the host declined to check us in. We stood there in the beach at noon for an hour. The reasons they gave and the way they handled the issue was really unfortunate. We trusted all the good reviews we saw in google. I now really doubt if they are genuine reviews. How can they just deny check in after confirmation and taking full money. They gave so many excuses like its their son’s phone, number is different, we couldn’t even comprehend what they were saying because it made no sense at all. The fact that they confirmed booking by taking full money and then denied check in at the time of check in speaks volume about their hospitality.
