We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Marari Arapakal Homestay as a family. The room was comfortable and equipped with AC, offering a pleasant retreat. It's just a 200-meter walk to the beach, which is super convenient. The owner was incredibly friendly and supportive, treating us like family. The breakfast served over the two days was delicious and satisfying. Overall, it’s an excellent and budget-friendly place to stay. Highly recommended

We stayed here twice it was so good. A wonderful place to stay that is close to the beach. Dominic and his family are amazing and so helpful. Great rooms, beautiful view, lots of space, clean and quiet. 100% recommended. If you are looking for a place to stay in Marari Beach, you have found the place to be.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely homestay at Marari Beach, and wish we could have stayed for longer. Dominic and his family were very kind and helpful. We really appreciated our talks with Dominic, who gave us some insight into the area and its situation after two years with no foreign guests due to the epidemic. He also helped us getting around and showing us the area and arranging a beautiful boattrip in the backwaters of Alleppey. His wife cooked some very good food, with local fish, that we enjoyed outside at the terrace by the candlelights. Actually is was some of the best food we had in Kerala. We wish the family all the best, and hope they get a lot of guests again in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 year old kid. The rooms are basic but comfortable . Balcony sitting area was cozy . Breakfast was excellent. There are total 6 rooms here (ac and non ac) . It’s 2 min walk to marari beach . Few points to improve - need more storage space for clothes , bathroom needs window which can be closed . We enjoyed the stay . Thank you.

Nice location and host (Dominique) but the price is really too expensive for the quality. The room and the bathroom were dirty and the bedsheets and beds not really comfortable. Breakfast is nice though and Dominique is a really nice host. We just had cheaper homestay and really more comfortable. We paid 3000 while the room is not worth more than 2000.

We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at Marari Arapakal Beach Villa in early January 2019. Dominic and his father, Vincent, took very good care of us during our stay. They really made us feel at home. Dominic recently added two new rooms on the first floor, and they are very nicely done. My wife and I stayed in the beach cabin (and loved being on the beach), and our daughter stayed at the main property just 150 meters up the road. All accommodations were great - as were the meals served - and we highly recommend Mararikulam and Marari Arapakal Beach Villa to other travelers. There is a nice, clean beach to enjoy, and a few nice cafés and restaurants nearby. We plan to return to visit Dominic and family in the future!|

Great Homestay! Clean and 2mins walk from the beach! Dominic is really nice and will arrange rickshaw rides, boating expeditions, Ayurvedic treatments etc… for you. And to top it all off, his wife is a brilliant cook, the Kerala breakfast is top notch ! And she can prepare a great Kerala dinner served outside the room when you feel like staying in. I really recommend !
