Green Tea View Homestay

Pros: The host, Thomas, was very friendly and polite. The place was well-maintained, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. It is located near Anachal, where you can find affordable places to eat and shop. A special thanks to his son for decorating the room based on our request, it turned out great! Cons: We visited this place with our family, but I found out that it is not open to bachelors. This policy was not mentioned on Booking.com, which could be clarified for better transparency. Overall: We had a very good experience and would highly recommend this place for families.

We had a really nice stay here. The view is amazing, the rooms are clean but the best of all is the friendly people running this guesthouse. We mostly talked to father and son who both speak good English and they are very friendly and made us feel at home. When booking here you should know that you need transportation to go places. Public transport worked fine for us but can be a bit of a hassle :).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the balcony room was clean and had a great view of the hills. I appreciated coming back from a full day of activities (which Thomas helped arrange) to some peace and quiet surrounded by nature and hot tea. And Thomas and his family were beyond welcoming! We were hoping to try a traditional Onam festival meal. Even though it took extra effort to prepare, they made it happen! I'm so grateful to Thomas and his family for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend staying here 🥰

We stayed at this loaction for two days and had a wonderful experience. The two rooms we booked were clean and comfortable, and the view of the tea garden from the balcony was amazing. The parking area was well-organized, with space for 7-8 cars. There’s also an adventure park near the loacation for kids, and a vegetarian restaurant within walking distance. The homeowner, Thomas & his family members are very friendly and helpful. They made our stay even better with their warm hospitality. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed it a lot!

We stayed in that property for three nights. The stay was awesome. The view was beautiful from the room. Added to it the host and his family are really helpful and nice people. If you are visiting Munnar please do stay in that homestay. Your trip will be memorable.

Thomas and family is like my own family now. Enjoyed their generosity and kindness . They took extra care as I had aged parents with me. Their recommendations are patented to suit your needs . Could not have asked for a better 3 day holiday . Thomas Chettan would always check on my parents . I’m so touched by his kindness

I spent three nights at Lisa & Thomas Homestay. The place is bright and clean, surrounded by nature, in addition to be a very good value for money, the hosts are simply the best. We arrived strangers and left sad to say goodbye to our new friends. Thank you Thomas & Lisa for the cooking class and all the way you helped us having the best stay as possible.
