My visit to this hotel was seven years ago, yet the memories remain remarkably fresh. Our three-day stay was truly enjoyable. Manish, our host at the time, was exceptional, providing a perfect experience. Even after all these years, I still recall his hospitality, prompting me to leave this review now that I have the opportunity. See you soon Manish!

We stayed for three nights in March. I think 2 would have been better, the place is in a lovely setting beautiful garden but is a long way from a town having to rely on Manish||calling in tuck tuck or Taxi. The road is not walkable due to passing traffic. The food is plentiful and traditional. Our room was comfortable but could do with a decorate.||Manish and family are excellent hosts.

We had a nice stay with Manish and his family. The house is located quite a long distance from Munnar but is set in a lovely cardamom plantation. |Despite being ill while we were staying, Manish did his best to give us a comfortable stay. The campfire and the food were highlights. Our attempt to walk up the mountain behind the house was less of a success. Our guide did not speak any English and got lost several times - this might not be the best option for hiking in the region and definitely wasn't worth paying 500 rupees for.|Our tour to a tea factory was an interesting experience and allowed us to see much more of the region. |All in all Pulickal is a good place to stop for a few days when in Munnar and much better value than the big name resorts.

We stayed 2 nights in this guest house which is really nice in a peacefull environment. ||The personnel is helpful and reactive. Breakfast is generous. Rooms are clean with suficient space. ||2 bad points : it is quite far from Munnar (15mins by car / 25 tuktuk) thats why the householder proposes personal taxi services. It allowed us to see many things in the region in short time. Second point, its quite expensive including rooms and taxi services (1800 a day).

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay here, and recommend it to others. The house is situated just before a bend on the road, making the view that much more attractive. Right opposite the house are thick woods sloping down. The rush of water from a stream nearby is a constant part of the soundscape of the area. ||You can sit on the road-facing balcony, admiring the woods or listening to birdsong. Early in the morning and late in the day, we would stretch out on the chairs here and read. ||||Please do make the time to hike in the wooded estate that belongs to the family.||||The family is warm and very rooted, which is a great advantage to visitors. In matters of food, this place is right up there. Be it the taste, the variety or the sheer love with which it is prepared, it is sure to leave you craving for more. You get the local Keralan cuisine, with many vegetables taken from their own estate. ||||This homestay is away from the bustle of Munnar's center, yet easily accessible nevertheless. It is bang on the road that goes from Adimaly to Munnar. ||||The tiny, quaint abandoned church next door to the homestay is like nothing I have ever seen. Built more like a traditional Kerala house, it makes for a memorable sight. ||||The prices of room and food are reasonable too. Here, you don't encounter the cut-throat attitude that is typical of many hotels and homestays - and this is so reassuring. Our thanks to Appukuttan, his wife (chechi), Maneesh and Aashiq.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it is probably the best atmosphere we have ever stayed in - the location is great for nature lovers and very very scenic. Breakfast was great every time and the hospitality of the hosts exceeded all our expectations each and every time. Manish is a great host and we look forward to staying here anytime we are in Munnar.

Enjoyed our stay at this place. Great hospitality. Manish, who manages the guest house is a great host. Loved the food, we requested for dinner and enjoyed the local cuisine. I wish I could have spent some more days at their place. Surely will recommend others to stay here. Though it is a bit far from the town, but, when you are on a vacation, this is the place, you should be. Peaceful atmosphere. Can spend hours watching the birds and the view from their top floor balcony is breath taking. Very peaceful place.

Last week after getting a short break from my tight schedule, I was searching for a pleasant place closer to nature to spend a quality time with my family. With the help of trip adviser only I came across to Pulickal Green Cottage and I feel myself very lucky. It is only 11 km from the city just beside the main road and yet every morning you can woke up with the chirping of the birds. If anyone visit Munnar, they must stay here. It possesses every kind of amenities. So, I didn't find one single thing to complain and specially Manesh is so helpful such a great person I have ever met. Food was delicious. Manesh guided us for the whole sight seeing and with that help our Munnar trip was marvelous, I must say.
