They provide decent rooms pretty clean bathrooms,few blankets, ample space for drying clothes, washing machine. Beach is in walkable distance, although it's a no-swim beach but black sand is just nearby. Bed is quite soft and pillow is too, had a nice nap without any disturbance. Great experience, owners are very nice. Quite budget friendly if you stay as groups.

We had a terrible experience with this property. We booked a room through Booking.com, with payment to be made after check-out. However, we never received any confirmation call from the manager, and there was no valid contact number listed on Booking.com. When we arrived at the location, the owner casually informed us that our room had been given to someone else and cancelled our booking without any prior notice or communication. This was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and shows a complete lack of responsibility and customer care. We were left stranded and had to struggle to find another hotel at the last minute. Such behaviour is completely unacceptable. If you’re considering booking this place, please think twice and keep an alternative option ready — this property’s management is highly unreliable and cannot be trusted.

I would not recommend choosing this property Reserved a room at this property for our Varkala trip, Unfortunately, there was no communication from the host, and no contact information was listed on Booking.com or Google. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find other guests already staying in the room we had booked. Due to this we lost our sunset program. Overall, I would not recommend choosing this property.”

Amazing Stay at Olive Home Stay! We had a wonderful experience at Olive Home Stay! The location is perfect—just a short walk to South Cliff and all the nearby cafes. The rooms are impeccably maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The amenities were a great bonus! We had access to a washing machine and drying ropes, which made things super convenient. A fridge was also available, adding to the homely feel. What truly made our stay special was the host. He was incredibly friendly, always ready to guide and assist us with all our queries throughout the trip. His hospitality made us feel welcome and at ease. Overall, Olive Home Stay is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and well-located place to stay. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this homestay! The host was very welcoming. The room spacious enough , quiet and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions like south cliff, sea view cafes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The hosts here a one of the nicest people out there and so is the stay. We had a really comfortable stay at this place with well maintained, clean and hygienic rooms and washroom. And environment was also really nice. Must recommend if you are looking for a comfortable stay on a budget
