Prayag Varkala

Excellent! I highly recommend to stay here. I ran a Yoga retreat here in January 2024. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Binoy who manages the property goes out of his way to help, he is friendly, easy to communicate with and trustworthy. I have stayed at his previous property many times and the standard of service and the rooms is always very high. There is a rooftop terrace for Yoga and a space on the 1st floor that can be used for meditation and Yoga Nidra. This place is also suitable for longer stays such as a few months. It is just 4 minutes from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes all nearby in walking distance. We also had breakfast cooked for us which was so delicious! I highly recommend this place!

They have Beautiful rooms with big windows and nice comfy beds, not to mention it’s very close to the beach! The landscape around the house is also beautiful, full of jungle and serene sounds of animals at night. I found my stay here very peaceful and calm. The host is very helpful and will help you out with any information you need during your stay. Thank you!

The location of Prayag Homestay is excellent, shops line the street all the way to the short walk to the beach. Great little restaurants and beach eateries. Binoy speaks English and assisted us with information and good advice, he is of excellent character and has a relaxed friendly manner. Binoy was so helpful, as was his staff and chef, she cooked us the most delicious breakfast each morning.

I recently stayed at Prayag Homestay. It is located within walking distance from the beach and cliff, easily reach by taking a bus to Varkala Beach bus stop. The place is safe, peaceful, and offers the AC/Non AC rooms at an affordable price. Mr. Binoy is friendly and always ready to help. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and neat, providing a homely atmosphere. Surrounded by trees and plants, it feels more serene. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Very nice place to Stay at Varkala ! Away from the main tourist area, Very close to South beach which is calm ! Prayah homestay offers Nice big elegant rooms with balcony, ac if asked, and private bathroom. The House is surrounded by a luxurious garden, full of nice plants and birds. Binoy is there, discreet and always disposed to help when needed. Thank you ! 😊

We had the best stay we could wish for in Varkala. The house near the beach and the temple but away from street noise. Binoy gave us the economy room since it was not yet high season. The house is new and elegant, spacious rooms with furniture and bathroom and all have a window or balcony overlooking the garden. Provide towel and soap. They have a very friendly little dog who went for walks with us. Suresh is also there for whatever you need, even making chai with natural milk! Thanks guys for loving long-time travelers!

A great stay nested amidst green estate. The property is well maintained and Mr. Binoy and Suresh helped us with arranging food as well as we were a big group. Prayag is highly recommended place near Papanasanam.

In December 1st I spent a week in varkala and stayed at the Prayag Homestay. It was a spacious and clean with a nice garden. The hosts, Pradeep and Hementh were fantastic and made the stay very pleasant. The cook and Caretaker, Arun prepared breakfast and dinner each day. The meals were wonderful and I was able to sample a large variety of Indian food. My room was clean and spacious with a private bathroom and A/C. The neighborhood was quiet and a convenient location
