Phoenix Homestay

We greatly enjoyed our stay here, Azru, our host is a lovely person, so helpful, always available and ready to help immediately with whatever we required. We had access to the kitchen and the fridge, which made our stay easier and helped save some money as well. We could eat our food in a spacious dining room/ hall. The whole home looked new, clean and well maintained, including our room on the ground floor. The only difficulty for us was to get used to the noise that motorbike riders were making along the street at night. However, this may not be a problem for most Indians who are less sensitive to noise in general.

I stayed at Pheonix during my new years trip to varkala. Not only is it’s location the best but also the host was super welcoming and helpful. He arranged for pretty much everything ranging from renting bikes to taxis and also showed us around some good off beat destinations in the city. The rooms are decent and clean. The homestay has very positive vibes and you would feel like you are staying in your own home. I highly recommend this stay if you want to avoid the crowded spots and it’s just 2 mins walk to Odayam beach, so you could access the beach as and when you like!!!!

Stayed here for a weekend. Accompdation is very nice and the host makes you feel welcomed and at home. It is only 7 minutes walk from odayam beach and 15 minute walk to varkala cliff. The room is quite spacious for the two of us here and is well maintained and clean. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here without any hiccups

Host is very friendly He even offered his own dinner since we arrived at midnight and all the hotels were closed. Place is very homely and secured. Lovely stay and clean.

Our family of 16 stayed in this villa, and it was an awesome experience for us. The villa is very neat and clean, and the host Azro, is very friendly and helpful. I would love to visit again!!
