Calaila was a real gem! The location is unbeatable – just a minute's stroll from the North Cliff and all the vibrant beach shacks. We loved being able to easily pop down for sunset drinks and dinner. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. But what truly made our stay special was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. We even got some great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend!"

The check-in process was seamless, and I was impressed by the modern and sleek decor throughout the hotel. My room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The stay at Calaila turned out to be a noteworthy experience especially having an amicable and responsible host, Richie. The suite with a private plunge pool is the top notch attraction of the place. The thoughtfulness behind the decor and interior deserves mention. Nonetheless the rooms were clean, comfortable and hygienic, heading out to the cliff was just a matter of few minutes. Highly recommended for a vacation at Varkala.

We stayed in a budget non-AC room at Calaila and were pleasantly surprised. The room was simple but clean and well-maintained. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always eager to assist with any requests and provided excellent recommendations for local spots. The location is unbeatable. A short stroll takes you to the breathtaking cliff, and you're surrounded by a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend for budget travelers!"

Stay was good, so coperative. We reached early morning and they gave early accommodation for us. Safe place, very near to cliff. They arranged vehicle for us to go out.

It’s my second time here and it was a lovely stay.We reached early in varkala and they allowed us for a early check-in.It was a smooth stay and really enjoyed it.I will defenitely recommend this boutique stay if you want a peaceful stay and also near to cliff.Thank you team calaila.

I stayed 2 nights in the plunge pool room and 2 nights in standard AC. The plunge pool room actually rocks - every time I got back sweaty and heated, I just plunge. The place is super chill but could surely use a kettle and fridge (even if it’s shared)
