Riverbench Homestay

We had a wonderful stay at Riverbench Homestay! The property is very neat, clean, and well-maintained. Mr. Sabu, the owner, is extremely friendly and welcoming. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. The balcony offers a beautiful view, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the busy city life.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at this beautiful homestay! The property was clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. A special mention to Sh. Sabu ji, the owner, for his warm hospitality and helpful nature. The farm visit was one of our highlights—he patiently explained everything and made it a really interesting experience. He also guided us to some great shopping spots around Munnar, which was very helpful. The natural swimming pool by the river looked amazing and would have been another highlight. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain, we couldn’t make use of it this time. Overall, a lovely experience with great hospitality.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A warm, peaceful and truly lovely homestay We stayed at Riverbench Homestay for one night last weekend, and honestly, we wished we had stayed longer! It’s a beautiful, warm and peaceful homestay run by a genuinely lovely and friendly couple, Sabu & Mini. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality really made the stay special. The rooms are massive, comfortable and spacious, but our favourite part was the beautiful balcony. It’s the perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee in the evening, enjoy the stars at night, and wake up to the sunrise in the morning. It was incredibly peaceful just sitting there and taking in the surroundings. We travelled with our dog, and he absolutely loved the place! The property is very pet friendly, with plenty of space for him to walk around and explore. He especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the birds. 🐶❤️ The property itself is surrounded by a lovely plantation with nutmeg, passion fruit, rambutan, pepper, banana, tamarind, guava and many other plants. There is also a beautiful river flowing close to the property, just about a 5-minute walk away, which was a lovely place to explore. And the traditional Kerala-style breakfast was delicious! It was a wonderful way to start the morning. What we loved most, though, was the warmth and genuine hospitality of Sabu & Mini. It felt less like staying at a homestay and more like being welcomed into someone's home. We would highly recommend Riverbench Homestay, especially if you're travelling with children or pets and looking for somewhere peaceful, spacious and close to nature. Thank you, Sabu & Mini, for such a lovely stay. We hope to come back again — and next time, definitely for longer! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay with Mrs. and Mr. Thoppil. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and hospitable, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the surrounding view was absolutely beautiful. Mrs. Thoppil prepared a delicious and healthy breakfast every morning, which made our stay even more special. We truly appreciated their warmth and genuine care throughout our visit. Thank you for such a memorable experience. We will definitely come back again on our next trip. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️💯👌🏻

This was truly one of the best homestay experiences we’ve had in a long time! The location is absolutely magical—right near a peaceful river and surrounded by breathtaking mountains. What made our stay extra special was the incredible hospitality. The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. On top of that, the food they served was amazing and cooked to perfection. If you want a peaceful, scenic, and warm stay in Munnar, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!
