We arrived at Hotel Visawa Residency after a long bike tour, tired yet excited, and this place turned out to be the perfect comfort stop. The rooms were spotless, with crisp linens and fresh towels that instantly refreshed us. Every essential was thoughtfully provided: quality AC, geyser, electric kettle, and tea pouches waiting to fuel us up for the next day’s ride. Our bike found a safe home too, thanks to secure parking under CCTV surveillance — a huge relief for travelers on wheels. The staff here deserves a special mention. They were genuinely warm and attentive throughout our stay. We even had the honor of meeting the hotel owner, a highly empathetic and respectful gentleman who treats guests with true hospitality. His attitude reflects across the whole property. The location is well suited for families and explorers alike. A pleasant 10-minute walk leads to the iconic Mahalaxmi Temple. Fabulous vegetarian food is just 5 minutes away at Hotel Saarthi Restaurant, which became an instant favorite. Great hospitality, family-friendly atmosphere, and well-worthy rates. This hotel doesn’t just provide a place to sleep. It gives you a reason to return to Kolhapur.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was very polite, helpful, and made sure all my needs were taken care of quickly. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing and nearest to Shri Mahalakshmi Temple. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I was in Kolhapur for a busy work trip and at the last moment decided to visit Mahalakshmi Temple. While searching for a place nearby, I randomly came across Hotel Visawa and booked it since it’s literally walking distance from the temple and easy on the pocket too. From the moment I entered, the place felt really positive. It’s brand new, super neat and clean, and the vibe was very welcoming. The manager was friendly and personally showed me to the room. The room itself was cozy, spotless, and had all the basic facilities you’d expect. What I found really useful is that they also allow bookings for just a few hours, so if you’re in Kolhapur only to visit the temple and want a comfortable place to freshen up before moving on, this is perfect. Overall, I had a great experience here and would happily give it five stars. Definitely coming back whenever I’m in Kolhapur again.

Very beautiful and clean hotel. Staff is very friendly. 50mt away from mahalaxmi temple. Perfect for family stay. Hot water and ac is also available. This hotel is truly value for money.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Kolhapur. The room was neat, AC worked well and breakfast was simple but yummy. Staff were polite and helped with a late checkout overall a very comfortable stay. Best part, it’s sooo close to the Mahalakshmi temple.
