The stay was satisfactory I booked as a solo traveler and had a great experience as the hotel staff and the receptionist were really helpful. They were very responsive and helped me in many things which was really impressive. Really got a homely vibe . Suggesting this stay for solo travelers as well .

Very bad experience at this mahusmruti homestay in mochisahi Puri. The photos shown online were completely different from reality. The room was unhygienic, The room was not worth ₹2500 at all – it’s a total waste of money. My suggestion to other guests: don’t book this place, it will ruin your stay.

If higher tariff rooms are unavailable, it’s better not to book. The lower tariff rooms are extremely small, with just one double bed and barely any space to move around. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, even though we checked in late at around 9:30 PM. However, the location is convenient — situated roughly midway between the Temple and the Beach, both of which are within walking distance.

*1/5 - Extremely Disappointing Experience* I recently had the misfortune of staying at Madhusmruti and I must say it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The hotel's website promised a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, but what we got was a rude and uncooperative staff. From the moment we checked in, the owner/manager was extremely unfriendly and seemed put off by our presence. We were given a room that was not cleaned properly, with dirty sheets and a bathroom that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. When we tried to bring these issues to the staff's attention, they were completely unresponsive and dismissive. It seemed like they just didn't care about their guests' comfort or experience. Overall, our stay at Madhusmruti was a disaster. The staff's bad behavior and lack of concern for their guests' experience made our trip extremely stressful and unpleasant. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. *Will I recommend this hotel? No*

I stayed in madhusmriti in Dec' 24. We booked 2 rooms, rooms were average, bathrooms were dirty. There was some kind of sand all over the room. I asked care taker to sweep but every time they refused. Then I asked for broom then only they cleared that sand. That turned out the wood dust from the mites. The location is good, the one helper who would get food and other snacks also was good. Only concern was hygiene part and rooms were too small for the amount we paid.

One of the best homestay options near a very famous Jagannath temple in Puri. The rooms were neat and clean. The rates were very affordable. There is a small gym, common living area with nicely done interior design and with lots of antiques and books, magazines to read. The place also has a small dining area. There is a small but nicely decorated garden outside which looks more pretty at night. The service was the best. We enjoyed our stay here.

We visited this place in oct 2022, its quite nice place. Rooms were well maintained. It has a library with lot of good books. Food can be pre ordered, which is homely and tasty as well. Mr. Molay Mishra is friendly, helpful and very learned person, had a good time interacting with him.
