Chunni Homestay

Our stay at Chunni homestay was a beautiful experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and cozy, and the home-cooked food was simply delicious. Waking up to nature and sipping tea by the window was a highlight. A perfect place for a quiet, heartwarming getaway. Highly recommended! She also arranged our next day trip to Nathula and the local site visits.

Budget hotel of course.! Rooms are spacious enough, well maintained, cleaned. Staff are very cooperative. Foods were simple and healthy which we preferred. Location is not very near to the market. In all parts we were very much satisfied with their services.

It was pleasant staying at Chunni homestay ...whole staff and ambience made me feel at home and also warm hospitality from the hosts and great food... would love to comeback and explore more. I'll strongly recommend it💯

I personally felt great pleasure staying in "Chunni homestay" again and will prefer to stay in future as well. -Owner is very helpfull, gentle, and also helped us with all the transport management at a very reasonable price so I'm very grateful ☘️ It was a wonderful stay and journey 🥂

The stay can be described as nothing less than "excellent". Beautiful location, friendly host and the venue is a home away from home. Comfortable and clean. Simply the best. Looking forward to be there again

Chunni Homestay is a home away from home.. we stayed her for 5 days in total on two different occasions and the host Tashi was absolutely amazing..she was sweet and also served us excellent meals..The helper Roopa was also very polite and was also available when we needed any thing..Highly recommend 👌 Will visit again . A special mention to the lovely and tasty home-cooked meals 😋

Only one thing I found wrong here that we booked 3 rooms for us and paid advance too. But suddenly the owner told us just a day before to reach there that he couldn't provide us 3 rooms and he will provide only 2 rooms for us. After taking advance and confirming all thing they just changed it for their convenience and left a tourist helpless. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is also good.

In one word it is expressible is "EXCELLENT". It is feeling like home with homely environment provided by Mr. Soman and his excellent family. Why??- Room size, cleanliness, decorations, room services, food quality, toilet and toiletories all are remarkably good. What needs improvement is commitment. Why I am telling it???- 1st: I booked 3 rooms for for 3 nights for my family and also booked 1 room for my friend for 3 nights. For 1st night he given 3 rooms for my family but for 2nd day he requested me to adjust in 2 rooms as my friend checked in that day. He requested me that 1 person extended their stay, please adjust in 2 triple bedded room instead of 3 double bedded room. Stay of 6 persons in 2 triple bedded room is well managable but in case of 3 different sets of people staying together in 2 rooms is little difficult, for what I booked 3 rooms. Some uneasiness was there. He apologized for that. He given 3 rooms again in 3 day. 2nd: He offered me 3 rooms at Rs. 700 per day per head in twin shearing basis including breakfast and dinner when I was booked my room. I booked my rooms 1 months before my arrival at Gangtok but he called me 1 day before my arrival and told me that he can only manage breakfast in that price. He will not provide dinner as the price is hiked. I had given him advance also for booking confirmation. After confirming of booking and taken advance changing of price is not good. Few things I would like to mention that why they are excellent inspite of few issues are. 1. Their hospitality was beyond our expectations. All my family member was very happy inspite of above issues. 2. He helped me to get North sikkim package when I was in confusion. 3. They reached in heart of all the members of my family. 4. I was surprised when he called and asked me that if we have got our return train in time, as there was some issues with car coming late to drop from gangtok to siliguri. That time we already board in train and he was sound relaxed to hear it. As I am a tour lover, I always love to cover all places during my tour. I have no fascination of hotel rooms. I have covered almost all famous tourist destinations in India but service like here was not experienced any time. It was memorable experience.
