Norling Homestay - LA Homes

Stayed here for 03 nights with a friend. I. found Norling to have a nice welcoming ambience. The upkeep of the property is of a high standard. It's hygienic rooms and amenities make life comfortable. The interaction with the hosting family was very pleasant and informative. The food preparation was tailored to individual needs and well prepared. Overall a good choice.

Cannot expect anything better! If you are visiting Gangtok (Sikkim), this is a MUST STAY place. The mind-boggling ambience, heart-warming hospitality, and a strategic location on the map is sure to surprise and amaze you. It is located just 3 kms below the M.G. Road, and a taxi fare would cost you about ₹30 per head. The homemade delicacies offer you a first-hand, mouth watering, and a delightful cultural treat. The rooms and restrooms are really well maintained and good as new. Proper care has been taken considering hygiene and otherwise. This is probably one of the best places to stay in Gangtok for two nights at a decent price.

My family stayed here for four nights. The rooms are neat and hygienic, the staff are very warm and friendly. The food served is excellent. The property is maintained well and overall, it has been a wonderful stay.

Me and my Husband visited in March 2022 and we had a wonderful time.. Great place, good hospitality and lovely food .. We are planning to visit soon

Rooms are neat and clean. The property is just on the highway. So noisy. No views of the valleys or mountains from here! Service is good. The staff and the owner are very cordial. Just for staying it is ok! The breakfast and dinner was sumptuous and yummy! Wifi is very slow!!

Our stay at Norling Homestay was impeccable . The hosts were very kind and co-operative. Mr. and Mrs. Chandra Rai and their mother (Aunty)…they all treated us like family members with love and care, served with some nice home made food and delicacies .We didn’t feel for a while, as if we are away from our home . They gave us all the information about local cuisines , market and local culture. I loved the place (Gangtok) very much and the serenity flowing here, which I really miss in Delhi . I wish to come here again , next year .

I really had a wonderful time during my stay everything was taken care of in a professional manner, the host and the family that runs the homestay are wonderful people with a very warm hospitality towards their guests also i'll rate 5/5 for the homely cooked meals and for hygiene. would def. give it a visit again in the future. :)

It's okey, this is place is situated near roadside (highway), if you are looking for peaceful environment than this is not the place. But if want to roam around Gangtok than this place offers you short distance approx 10-15 minutes but due to traffic it can take almost hour.
