Luitel Homestay

An absolutely sublime place to be at. Amrit is a gem, and his place is nothing less than that! He immediately makes you feel like you're at home, and helps you navigate around Sikkim beautifully. He really goes out of his way to make you and your family comfortable. Would recommend this place to literally anyone!

My family and I stayed at Luitel homestay for 3 nights. The homestay is in a prime location and offers excellent views of the Gangtok hills. The homestay also has an interesting art and book collection. Amrit is a fantastic host, great cook, and offered us an authentic Sikkimese experience. We were very comfortable and safe to say I’ll be visiting again.

A mind blowing place. One of the coolest and beautiful homestays in the Gangtok. The owner of that place (Amrit) very helpful and supportive. The best views from the rooms. Must visiting Place for Everyone. We go with the Family and it was a family friendly place.

We loved this lovely homey Homestay. The room was super nice and pretty. The balcony has amazing view. The view from the toilet is also wonderful. Everything was clean and neat. The design of the house is beautiful and special. Food was delicious. It's on a nice and quiet side of town. Amrit is a kind and welcoming host, he gave us nice recommendations. There is a homey common room for meeting the other guests and playing games. We loved it, it was cozy. And hot water in the shower was super nice.

We stayed at Luitel Homestay for 4 nights (Dec 14-17) and loved every bit of our stay. Amrit is a great host, one of the finest if you want a culturally immersive stay in Sikkim. The rooms and clean and comfortable. The common areas like the dining, kitchen and living are inviting and the entire homestay is wonderfully curated. The highlight for me would be the food - Amrit insists on serving authentic Sikkimese meals. These are simple, fresh, home-cooked, and heavenly, and almost everything is sourced from his own organic farm or backyard. Amrit recommended some fine, non-touristy places that we could explore. Also guided us with local travel. Would highly recommend Luitel to all conscious travelers!

Great home stay very close to gangtok. The people are very decent and helpful. The rooms are clean with a big wash room with continuous hot water available. They always try to satisfy clients with their preferred foods or creative foods. They have a good common room with lots of good books
