At such adversely affected areas it is just okay. Power failure is almost all the times. The way to the home stay is absolutely risky as it is too high and only rock Stairs are only way. Very tiring and dangerous. Elderly people and children must avoid this place. Insanely cold and freezing. Weather plays a spoil sports and food choices are very limited. But overall experience is fair enough.

Pros: View- Fantastic Service - Super Food - Tasty Hotel staff - Nice Behaviour and helpful Cons: Rooms- A little bit damp Location - Should be avoided by Old age people.

Mukhia homestay is a wonderful and one of the nice homestay at silkroute Sikkim.Really all the staffs and owners are very helpful and families . We can forget in our life .

Being a tour operator, we wouldhave rate them 0 star but there no option of that....because they overbooked out of their capacity and then transfer them to other near by homestays which lacks of basic amenities. My guest suffer from that...we booked 2 months ago. At the time of booking they said rooms are available but they don't provide us the bookings. Even before booking we call to recofirm they said Yes...but ultimately my guest has suffered.... We have given the picture below...saying mukhia homestay...We going to share this to every possible platform. Cheater

The best of all homestays. This homestay is situated at the hill top of Zuluk and the stay was amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. There is an open area in front of the stay where you can do a bonfire.They charge 1k for it as it's very difficult for them to arrange wood. That can be considered. The view is just wow from the hill top and your eyes will literally go mesmerized. The food and services were too good compared to the height of the location. I can't imagine how they manage such beautiful hospitality in such remote locations where there are very limited population. Highly recommended. I personally request each tourist to please show a little cooperation with them as they really struggle to make your stay comfortable as much as they can and asking more or complaining will really not justify humanity. This is the basic we can do to show our gratitude towards the services they are providing at a height of 13000ft.
