Location is awesome , the entry to the place itself is wow The sunrise view from the room balcony is wonderful and mesmerising moments must see . Need to wake up by 5:30 and till 6 can see post that clouds n mist would occur Can see Vaikai dam , periyakulam town , theeni town from balcony … nice view Nearer to dolphin nose , can have a good trekking, we went by 6am and returned back by 8 without crowd Many shops near by , so no worries for food , tea etc Have WiFi which is good n useful Pet friendly Food breakfast is kind of ok only Rooms are little bit not clean Bedspreads to be near For water they give plastic tumblers which they can change to glass Toiletry , paste brush soap tissue didn’t provide n upon request they gave soap , Towels as well not there upon request they gave …meaning didn’t do proper checklist while handing over the room Rooms n service if improve a little it’s awesome place for all kind of people to stay Price for 2 nights for 4 people n a pet is rs.10030 including breakfast .

Doesn't feel worth for money. We took 2 rooms for 7persons .rooms are not bad cleaned and maintained well but there wasn't kept basic things in toilet. We also included dinner additionally but when we reached there we didn't get what we ordered actually and unhealthy serving. Overall experience was 👎🏻 bad. Only the location and beds are good.

We had a great stay at your wooden farm house Kodaikanal. The room was very comfortable and clean. Along with very nice nature hill top view .🥰🥰 The staff were really nice and polite. The service was very good and excellent breakfast. Thank for your hospitality see you soon on next season..

Seven of us stayed in this wood house. They didn't provide basic items in our room. The food we ordered at night was not served properly. Their communication with customers needs to be improved. We are disappointed with their service.

Really value for money and i came with my friends and we really loved their hospitality.Food there is also good.But only thing bad is the way to room is full of grass and noo lights around the way inside their compound from the parking.

Last weekend, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful resort in Kodaikanal (Praveen's Wood House, Vattakanal). Nestled amidst pear fruit trees and with the serene presence of around 20 bison nearby, the location itself was enchanting. The resort, managed and maintained with impeccable care, truly exceeded our expectations. The food, prepared with love and expertise, was not just delicious but also a highlight of our stay. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality extended to us by Praveen and his family. Praveen, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His coordination throughout the trip was exemplary, and he effortlessly organized our plans and catered to our every need. A special mention must be made of Praveen's mother, whose culinary skills left us craving for more. Her affection towards our family, especially towards our kid, was heartwarming. Despite the resort being fully booked, they managed to shower us with attention and care, making us feel truly at home. Our Kodaikanal visit was nothing short of magical, thanks to Praveen and his family. We are immensely grateful for the wonderful memories and the warm hospitality. Sorry to say this please nobody visit this wood house Blankets smells bad ,heater will work sometime and sometime it won't work, Don't ask them to cook food for it is totally not hygiene, because the food taste also too bad and non veg will not be clean to cook ,while eating it smells like something, the lady who is incharge for the Woodhouse will never inform about the parking till your advance done more 800 meters you have to walk down wards , while you are going to check out don't pay immediately, because after payment done they will not help you to pick your luggage,she has pets like cats and dogs. That will surrounds her when she cook and cats will jump on the plates which is going to serve and eaten by you . So better visit the place first and do the advance once you are ok with the place and rooms ,and don't order food from that owner it's too bad 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
