Sunshine Bungalow

We were recommended this property by one of our good friends. But I was utterly disappointed by my overall experience at this property. Before I start with the negative feedback I would just like to highlight the positives - We took a full 1bhk villa which was clean n neatly maintained. Bathroom was nice and hot water available. The food we ordered tasted homely and was delicious. Now the negatives 1.Location is not that great. Not very great views too from the bungalow. 2. The only highlight of the property is that it is a heritage property, other than that very basic amenities are provided. 3. We ended up paying a total of 8720 Rs for our room +food(lunch+dinner) for 1 night with the most basic meals . Pls note this was the amount charged for 2 people. I have stayed at very luxurious air bnbs for the same amount. Kindly do not be fooled by the Google reviews or ratings. 4. Service is very average. We didn't get any guidance from the property manager, despite we came into this property via recommendation.We couldn't connect to the WiFi as it was off. They have a very small tv in the room and which did not have any subscription to Tata Sky. 5. In short you can easily find a much luxurious home stay in Kotagiri or Coonoor for the same amount and hence pls avoid staying at this property. It was a total waste of our time and money.

Had a vacation trip with six of us. All senior citizens. The bungalow was absolutely stunning with great, clean rooms. Food was excellent. The staff shastri and George were so v good. They made us relax and enjoy every min. Will recommend v highly. Thank u shastri and his team. God bless u all. Will def make more trips.

Brilliant stay, the place was always clean, the staff is very efficient, warm, and welcoming.||The house is in the quieter parts of town, and has a lovely garden and a stupendous scenic view. They have an adorably sized activity room which keeps you rather warm and fuzzy during the cold weathers. All their facilities are spectacular.||One of the best parts of this stay was the deliciously delectable food that the cooks made.||Every meal was absolutely sinful.||Also, they have a DOG! <3||The whole experience was indubitably fabulous, highly recommend.

The house had beautiful antique furniture and a warm feeling to it. The hosts were really welcoming too. The view from the gazebo is mesmerising. The place was kept tidy and all of our needs were attended to. We had an amazing time and really wanted to stay longer! It was the perfect break from the busy city.||||Bonus: there's even a friendly dog to keep you company

The bungalow is a heritage property and the caretakers were simply amazing people i.e. Mr and Mrs. Shastri. The food that was served was also up to the mark, thus we never felt the need for ordering food from outside. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.It's easily accessible to the main road and still away from the hustle of the city. The property overlooks a tea estate. It's the worth the money and would highly recommend it.

Sunshine bunglaw is a cozy homestay and a perfect place to relax . The place is elegantly decorated with antique furniture which is absolutely eye catching. We were greated by Lansa , a happy Labrador. The place is well maintained by the manager Mr sashtri and his wife chella who were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The staff were courteous and prompt.||Food was sumptuous and was served with a lot of love :) They have also maintained an amazing garden that has a gazebo which is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea 😊 ||Would love to visit again :)

Scenic and serene.❤️ It was an amazing stay with great ambience. The Staffs at the homestay were very courteous and kind.The place has a large campus which is lush green and so beautiful. The food made us drool, tasty as a top notch. The pricing was very genuine and reasonable for what they provide. Highly recommended for those who need a great privacy homestay at it's best.😍💯

Excellent homestay! Extremely courteous and helpful staff, very good food made to order. Shastri is Cook par excellence A 130 year old banglow, lovingly restored and maintained with great beds and ambience. Will definitely stay again.
