Location was very near to shops and eateries. Botinacal gardens and public transport is very near. Cleanliness was top notch compared to ooty’s overall cleanliness. Do not expect any nature views and temperature control

It's a very pleasant place to stay in ooty. Not too far from the bus stand and railway station, this place lies in a very good locality near to the acclaimed charring cross and even the ooty Rose Garden is also nearby. There is a good marketplace and restaurant chains nearby where you can enjoy your evening with a casual walk. This place is run by Mr. Gladwin Lillywhite, he is a very good and helpful person and the place is well managed by him. You won't find any issues with such a nice stay and such nice people around. The service was very nice and homely.

We recently stayed at a home stay in Ooty managed by a couple. Unfortunately, our experience was not as pleasant as we had hoped. The room was very cramped, with barely any space to move around after placing our two small suitcases. There was no fan or AC, likely because Ooty is generally cooler, but this made the lack of ventilation even more uncomfortable. The small window that was present opened only slightly and was blocked by a back wall, making the room feel quite suffocating. For the price of around ₹6,800, the value was disappointing, especially since only morning coffee was provided and there was no view. The only positive aspect was its central location in the city, which made it convenient for accessing local attractions. However, overall, we felt the room did not meet our expectations and was overpriced for what was offered.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming cottage! The cozy atmosphere, picturesque surroundings, and attention to detail made it a perfect retreat. Impeccably clean, well-equipped, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. We appreciated the thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. Five stars without a doubt!

This location stands out for its tranquil setting and the delightful host, Gladwin, who has a knack for ensuring guests feel at ease. During our two-night stay, upon our arrival, the hosts generously treated us to warm Maggi. When we offered to pay, they graciously declined any payment. While the cottage is charming, cozy, and unpretentious, there are opportunities for improvement, such as providing 24-hour hot water, offering a tea and snacks menu, and encouraging a bit more courtesy from the host lady during check-out when guests exceed the checkout time. In summary, our overall experience was enjoyable.
