Had a wonderful stay! The view from the property is absolutely amazing and made the experience so refreshing. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and goes out of the way to make guests feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful stay.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Ooty’s Tea Estates! We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique cottage! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking—lush green tea estates as far as the eye could see. It felt like waking up in a dream. The room was thoughtfully designed, clean, and cozy. While it's not huge, it had everything we needed, and the charm of the setting more than made up for it. The caretaker was incredibly warm and attentive—he made us feel right at home with his hospitality. What really stood out was the peace and quiet. It’s the perfect getaway from city chaos. We also appreciated the little touches—fresh tea in the morning, help with local recommendations, and just the overall vibe of the place. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in nature. Can’t wait to come back!

Pros: I recently stayed in Berry dale comfort stay with my family. 1.View from balcony is very nice. Once can sit there for a coffee and enjoy the sunrise over tea plantation in the morning. 2.Care taker is so good and ready to help all the time. Very attentive for all the requests whether it’s cab service, mineral water etc. 3. 24/7 hot water. Cons: 1.Only problem is that bed linens should have maintained well.I can see lot of stains and dust all over the bed.Might be the maintenance issues. 2. In house food is not available. Need to order from Swiggy. Finally, if they can improve on room and bed cleanliness I feel it’s a very good stay in Ooty.

My stay at Berry dale was one of the worst stays I've ever had. I paid 8k for 2 days and for the price point the room was small not even average size. The bed was really uncomfortable and the linens were dirty. The view from the room was really good but the viewing balcony was a shared space and anyone could come and stand in front of your room. Two soap bars are the toiletries that was provided. The water glass was plastic and looked disgusting and dirty. For 8k not even a glass tumbler was provided which literally any other hotels would provide. Also the worst part about the room is that there is a shared space for kitchen between two rooms which was not in any pictures also there is no sound insulation between the shared space and your room. This literally means you'll hear even the tiniest noise made in the shared space kitchen in your room. I had the misfortune of sharing this space with a nuisance neighbours who has no concept of shared spaces and how to behave in the space. They would literally be in the shared space talking loudly, singing, laughing like crazy and making all sorts of noise with utensils. This would start as early as 6 am in the morning. When asked them to quiet down as it was disturbing they were rude and started to intentionally make more noises and cussing. I wanted to enjoy nice and calm stay which turned into a nuisance by some mannerless couple. The management should educate of people on how to behave in shared spaces or atleast try to insulate the noise between the room and shared space. For the price point I would expect this at minimum. The staff helpful enough. I wouldn't recommend this especially considering the price point as there are other better stays available in the region.

Place is beautiful with a private balcony space. Budget friendly stay. However, food is not available, might have to order from Zomato or Swiggy. Overall, beautiful stay.

Had a wonderful stay Especially care taker Basava raj anna was so good and hospitable. We missed our tripod at Karnataka garden asked anna to go and see whether it is there or lost... Anna went and found it and morning breakfast also very tasty,shiva bro who provided food was very hospitable. Thank you so much for making stay memorable with such a kind gestures. Will remember them for a lifetime.

A decent budget stay and care taker is really good and kind person. Good sight view in the morning. Close to ooty lake Road is little steap and short while entering. Apart from this, Overall good experience. I will recommend.

Budget friendly….The view from balcony is really beautiful…Location is very accesible…You have order food via swiggy or can go to the town for dining….There was 24*7 hot water available…But what disappointed us was that the property is not well maintained and clean enough….our apartments front door handle was broken….floors were not cleaned…paint flakes were falling from the wall…There was a kettle and induction cooker but no utensils were available….bed sheet and all were all stained and smelled old…If this property was well maintained, it would have been a great place because the view from back yard is breath takingly beautiful and it would’ve been a great place for a family especially if there are kids with you
