Not long ago, I had a very unpleasant and frightening experience during my stay here. One of the staff members was literally drunk, uncooperative, insulting behaviour and even went as far as threatening us. This was extremely alarming, especially since we were in a remote area far from home, with ladies in the family feeling particularly unsafe. Although the manager intervened later and tried to manage the situation, the damage had already been done. Such behavior is unacceptable in any setting, let alone a hospitality establishment. I regret not checking the reviews beforehand, and I strongly urge the management to take serious measures to ensure guest safety and prevent such incidents in the future. However, being unsure if necessary measures have been taken or not, and given our experience, I would not recommend this place, especially for couples or families. Guest safety should be a priority, and incidents like this are unacceptable

Visited this Resort Yesterday.. Had a horrible experience. The place is purely unhygienic and a complete waste of money. The staff made us uncomfortable by staring at us as if we were from another world. The food was utterly terrible, and the owner seemed extremely greedy, with no interest in maintaining the place. There’s absolutely no upkeep, making it an unpleasant experience overall. Would never recommend this to anyone. Staff 0/5 Food 0/5 Ambience 3/5 Safety 0/5 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I recently stayed at Agb Jungle Resort and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. From start to finish, the level of hospitality was dismal, and I left feeling frustrated and unsafe. First off, the staff were unprofessional and visibly drunk. On multiple occasions, I witnessed staff members who appeared intoxicated, which was both unprofessional and unsettling. It was clear that the staff were either uninterested or incapable of providing the standard of service expected from a resort at this price point. Moreover, the safety of women, in particular, was a huge concern. Several interactions with the staff were uncomfortable, with some members displaying inappropriate behavior that left me feeling harassed and unsafe. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I am deeply concerned that the management did not take immediate action to address this behavior. The food was another major letdown. The quality was subpar at best, with bland, poorly prepared dishes that were far below expectations. The dining experience was unpleasant, and it was clear that little effort was put into making meals enjoyable or appealing. To make matters worse, the management was completely unresponsive to any of the concerns we raised. Requests for assistance or clarification were met with indifference, and there was a general lack of professionalism in how they handled complaints. Overall, I would not recommend Agb Jungle Resort to anyone. The combination of bad food, unsafe environment, unprofessional staff, and negligent management made for a truly disappointing stay. It’s clear that there’s a serious lack of oversight at this resort, and I hope they take serious steps to address these issues before others experience the same frustrations.

Review: AGB Jungle Resort, Valparai Had one of the worst experiences ever at this resort. Here’s what we encountered: • Dirty Rooms: The rooms were extremely unclean, smelled terrible, and seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. • Staff Behavior: The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. By evening, many of them were drunk, making the atmosphere uncomfortable and unsafe. • Family Safety: Definitely not a place suitable for families. • Overall Hygiene: Basic cleanliness and maintenance were completely lacking. I strongly recommend checking other reviews before considering a booking here. Save yourself the trouble and choose a better place.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money I recently visited Agb Jungle Resort, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst resort experiences I've had. I was excited about the idea of staying in a nature-centric resort, but the reality was far from what was promised. Here's a breakdown of the major issues: Poor Maintenance : The resort appears to be severely lacking in upkeep. The property is not well-maintained, and it feels like the management has neglected basic care. 👎One of the main reasons I booked this resort was the advertised pool, but it was completely unusable. The pool was dirty, with leaves and debris floating on the surface, and the water appeared murky. It was clear that the pool had not been cleaned for a while, which was a huge letdown, as I had hoped for a refreshing dip after a long day. Terrible Food 🤮The food was another major disappointment. The quality was subpar at best. The menu was limited, and the food that was served lacked taste and freshness. Even basic dishes like rice and curry were poorly prepared. I couldn't finish most of the meals, and it felt like there was no attention to quality or hygiene in food preparation. Unprofessional Staff🥴The staff at the resort were unprofessional and not attentive to guest needs.During the stay, there was no sense of hospitality ,The staff’s attitude was the least hospitable I’ve encountered in any resort .unfortunately overshadowed by an incident with one of the staff members. One of the employees was visibly drunk, which led to unprofessional behavior that negatively impacted our experience Overall Experience👎👎👎The entire stay was extremely disappointing. The resort failed to live up to the expectations set by its online presence and promotional material. It feels like they are just interested in getting bookings and have little to no interest in providing a quality experience for their guests. Agb Jungle Resort is a place I would not recommend to anyone. The lack of maintenance, unclean facilities, bad food, and unprofessional service made for a very frustrating stay. There are plenty of better options in the area, and I would suggest avoiding this resort if you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.🥹🥹

I stayed at AGB Jungle Resort Thalanar, Yesterday without checking Google reviews, and it turned out to be a horrible experience. 1. Not Safe for Families: The staff seemed intimidating and dangerous, making us feel very uncomfortable throughout our stay. 2. Unhygienic Conditions: The rooms were filthy, and it was obvious that the bedding and room linens hadn’t been cleaned in at least a week. 3. Poor Maintenance: The overall property was poorly maintained, with no care given to cleanliness or guest comfort. This is NOT a place I would recommend for anyone, especially families. It is a major disappointment and does not justify its cost or location.

Gyarenty Food Infection • Rooms: The rooms are cheap, old, foul-smelling, and poorly maintained…. no option with them To provide better quality There are many premium resorts nearby that offer much better experiences. Don’t fall for this trap—it’s not worth your time or money.

The place is Dangerous,especially if you are traveling as family. Paints on wall are peeled off, fungal smells and the basic amenities(fan,heater and plug points) are not functional. 1)There’s no safety , it’s located ,far away from local area. 2) They charged 3250 rupees per day.(waste of money) 3) This place may be good for drinks and other activity. 4) I don’t attached any pic of this resort. Because i don’t want to have any memory of this place.The place is not safe for female. Please aware of this. Total horrible stay. When we stayed there, 4 to 5 members from another gang were on full drink and they behaved like total idiot (they given worst torture like , in midnight continuously they were shouting till morning 3 clock - There’s no resort person to control them. And later they started to press calling bell on our room. Only myself and my husband were staying, we afraid like anything. I started to cry ,it’s very worst experience )The day which I stayed in this resort feels like hell . Even now when I’m thinking of those night my body gets shivering and horrible place. What the resort owner is doing is unethical, dishonest and is daytime robbery. Last, be ready with sanitizer or salt or fire to remove leeches. Except manager , Those guys who prepared food and given ride where our vehicle can’t claim the slope were too kind and took care of us.
