iSTAYS - Loop Road Yercaud

The stay was bad. Rooms are very old and like a lodge. The washroom is not maintained, water leakage will irritate you. Rooms are big though and staff behaviour is good. But we did not get any food as there was no staff in the kitchen even on the weekend. We did not get any tea/coffee on Saturday also. For anything you need to go 3km near yercaud Lake.

I booked this hotel for 2 days in end of March by this year. The hotel is in the lap of nature. The Loop Road is going through the woods of silver oak. In morning just come out of ur hotel room & u ll find urself in nature. Rooms are good & well maintained. The manager of the hotel is very friendly. U can order for ur meal in hotel, the chicken curry was nice. They arranged for bonfire without any extra charges. Enough space for parking also there. Overall nice experience.

Rooms looks and feel old. No restaurant option close by, nearest restaurant location is 3 kms away. The hotel has a small creek where we can relax. Way to the hotel is very scenic. The guy in the front desk is very friends and hospitable. Overall neutral opinion

Rooms are spacious but not so clean. Big spiders spotted many times. They have a nice backyard facing the woods and a small stream, but totally failed to capitalise that. Used the space to dump plastic waste and other stuff. Location is 3kms far from centre but is good. Breakfast will be provided on demand and to pay separately.

Rooms many cockroach and in bathroom snails and some species. No mosquito. But one person for maintenance is good, no one to help for luggage. Hygiene not worth the money. Stream is also not maintained.

The hotel is okay and decent for a family stay. The small stream behind the property is fun to be at. However the main downfall is with the mobility. If you don't have your own vehicle don't even think to book here. No transport available (Auto to Lake is 250rs, literally robbing). Also biggest issue is they don't have restaurant and food is a issue. You can ask the reception to buy food but it will take lot of time and you will not receive food of ur choice. Overall it's a budget family stay. So don't expect more. Without vehicle don't ever go near this place.

This is just a pretend corporate hotel. The booking staff just sweet talk, they don't actually do anything helpful. In case of cancellation their policy is to take GST for that total booking not for the advance paid (Eg: If room booked for 5000 and paid 1000 as advance, id cancelled they deduct 18% GST from 5000 whereas the actual amount to be refunded is 1000), which is ridiculous. Even that they don't pay honestly. They make lot of mathematical mistakes. If we don't calculate the GST amount ourselves we will be tricked. The above scenario happened to me. Thankfully I quickly calculated and verified the amount and got the remaining funds.

Stayed here on 1 July during our ride to Yercaud. Peaceful place to stay, especially for riders. The rooms were neat and clean. Wifi available. The only con is you need to travel ~3km for a restaurant.
