Shri Rudra Home Stay

Very Disappointed – Misleading Listing and Unhygienic Conditions. I booked Shri Rudra Homestay for a 2-night business trip based on the pictures and videos shown on Booking.com, but the reality was shockingly different. The place was extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained. The entire homestay had a foul smell, the mattresses were dirty and stained, and the kitchen was filthy — with food leftovers from previous guests still on the counter and in the sink. Cockroaches and spiders were visible, and the bathroom was in terrible condition — the WC had pee stains and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Unfortunately, I arrived late at night and, due to the remote location and lack of alternatives at that hour, I had no choice but to stay a few hours. I left the next morning, cutting my trip short — and still had to pay for both nights, as the booking was non-refundable. I strongly recommend NOT booking this place unless and until the owner seriously improves the hygiene and lifts the basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance. The current state of the property is unacceptable and misleading based on what is advertised.

We had a great time! Beautiful homestay..it felt like a home away from home.The service and food were awesome! We plan to go again next year!
